depending on the 550 profit ,i would want to be under 30k... i think. unless the car is spectacular, then maybe 30-mid 30's. as long as the profit of the 550 is fine and the 550 is sold at a normal ,not discounted price.

    does it make sense...?

you are right, they are not near as sexy as the earlier cars.. even the gtc4 to me is an abomination .. i find it ugly, unappealing, front end bumper a disaster... but again, ferrari badge, and the sound ! incredible...

what do you do with these less desirable cars... they are cheaper than the nice ones...and always will satisfy the less fortunate i guess.

Not quite true. Yours is the first 400A, but not the first Ferrari auto. Ferrari built 3 365gt 2+2 with gm 3 speed autos - these were all sold to the public.

    Dear all,
    I love this car too.
And I also like to travel with my kids and some luggage.
In this respect, the 400 is a good choice.
The fact is that the market price is low now, but some 330's or 250 gte's were also at the bottom some years ago.
The model had been build for 20 years when it stopped, an unattractive car would not have lasted for so many years.

You paid $80,000 for a 365 this year?

After reading your PM and now that statement, I'm speechless

    Steve,

The '60s cars and selected '70s cars are moving rapidly upwards. The other '70s cars are just beginning to move up.

    I think he means he paid $80k for a 365GT 2+2, not a 365GT4 2+2.

And he just sold a 365GT 2+2, maybe the same one, for $136k...

Those 3 were special order. The automatic was not an option until the 400.

I think one of those 3 is for sale at gullwing right now. They have a black car that's likely in pretty rough condition.
