    Hi guys,

    I m selling a used Ferrari F355 Capristo Sound 1 Free-Flow System.

It is good for both 2.7 and 5.2. The system is substantially lighter than stock one and less restrictive and thus less heat retained within the exhaust.

It has been used for less than 8k miles. It took off and kept in storage.

    Overall condition is still ok.

    Asking $2000.

I had a Stage 1 Capristo on my 1997 F355 spider, and that exhaust truly screamed when the valved opened up. Best upgrade I ever did to the car...I waited much too long to get it.

My concern is that the sound on 1 is too quiet than 2 or 3. Anyone chime in? Where are you located seller?

Stage 3 is the F1 melody. Stage 1 is just 10 dBA louder that OEM but still a Capristo and at very good price IMO

Stage one is louder than most realize. I had it, and even at idle it was much louder than my friends stock F355 exhaust, and on bypass it literally screamed. I had mine mated with oem catalysts and exhaust manifolds. Removing catalysts would make it insane.

Most that claim stage one is not much louder have never actually heard one. I also had a friend with a stage 3, it was louder, but he had aftermarket exhaust manifolds and no catalysts.

Capris to Stage 1 is quiet? I have stage 1 and ‘quiet’ has never come to kind as an appropriate descriptor. As mentioned above, it’s plenty loud even at idle.

    Hi guys,

The exhaust is located in Hong Kong and I will ship worldwide through DHL. Shipping to the US would be around $500 USD.

The exhaust should fit both 2.7 & 5.2 Euro car and 2.7 US car but I m not sure if it fit the US 5.2 version as the US 5.2 version seems to have the third thermocouple that appear on the junction between the by pass valve & the muffler.

Could anyone here clarify that ?

    Thanks

Yes, needs the thermocouple threaded fitting on the bypass pipe for 5.2 Motronic. Ferrari of Seattle drilled mine and welded a nut on it to thread the thermocouple on. Not a big deal. They did a nice job and placed it in the same location as the factory exhaust.
