Speaking of well-used, one summer years ago we put @ 3,000 miles on one of our F40s. Here's my son & I coming in a bit hot onto Laguna Seca Raceway's famed Corkscrew Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, this was @ the advent of the 20th Anniversary of the F40 under the auspices for Piero Ferrari himself, they kept us behind a pace car for 3 Touring laps for fun (similar to what the F40s did @ Silverstone), that said the pace car got a bit carried away after the 2nd lap...
News just in from my client is that at the current Cavallino Classic, F40 92336 procured & sold by Joe Sackey Classics LLC has won First in Class, the Platinum Award, and the Chief Judge’s Emeritus Cup Major Award. This F40 is one of 4 Concours D'Elegance award-winning F40s which Joe Sackey Classics has procured & sold, along with 3 award-winning 288 GTOs and 2 award-winning F50s. We continue to work hard to find the best cars for our clients. Meanwhile congratulations to Richard P! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'll have to ask the owner where he's at now, but as I recall when I sold it to him it had @ 2,000 miles.
RossoCorsa1– Agreed. Superb car. Looks like that interior pic you posted though is of the car to it’s right... a different F40, which is WeatherTech Dave McN car. The second pic though is #92336. Ch52
Here's 92336 imaged in front of the owner's impressive presentation, it's worth mentioning that this is the first time that the major award of the Chief Judge’s Emeritus Cup has been conferred upon a contemporary Ferrari Supercar Image Unavailable, Please Login
And of course they have everything! Can you post a picture of just the items on the blanket? Thanks, I can see most of them. Do you have a closer picture of these or perhaps from another angle?
That's the only one I have of the ancillaries, but let's invite someone else who took more images to please post.
Another view of our client's award-winning F40 at the Cavallino Classic, he took a nice car and made it even better, kudos Image Unavailable, Please Login
It has not been monkeyed with. Here is Classiche Director John Amette looking closely at it's passenger door as part of the inspection process. John has been with Ferrari for @ 30 years and was involved with the actual production of the USA F40, and is therefore IMO one of the most knowledgeable F40 authorities on the planet in terms of technical & cosmetic assessment Image Unavailable, Please Login
My big problem nowadays is finding F40s that meet this description, but once-in-a-while we are able to convey cars like 91097. Check out the Nomex fabric Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The leather rim of the original steering wheel is beautifully preserved and unscratched 30 years later Image Unavailable, Please Login
91097 spitting flames @ 10 years ago, it goes as least as well as it looks, which is the whole point of thorough maintenance Image Unavailable, Please Login
