For some time now the 275 GTB 4 cam has had a comparable market value to a USA Daytona Spyder. With the Daytona coupe pushing into the 600,000 dollar range for great examples the Daytona Spyder was due for an uptick to. Latest price for a USA Daytona Spyder now appears to be 3 million dollars for a good one.
Any comparable prices seen lately for these models including also the 275 GTB 4 cam cars?

Was the mid 8's Daytona the one Mike restored? It was silver over red as seen in this picture he shared some time ago>

Thanks for that! Someone once said you can never pay too much...only too soon.
To pry loose something special you need some incentive there to complete the deal. Worse is when you have to also trade something that you would rather keep.
The Daytona Spyder market has been very quiet except for a few auction examples. So not much to go on except some other models of a similar age.

A 3000 mile original Daytona Spyder is going to be auctioned At the Bonhams Quail auction in Monterey. If I did my homework it looks like one of the last 10 made ( I hunk 8th to the end ).
This could set a new record.

There was a mention on the Daytona Spyder market here several months ago of Lance Hill's 16915. I have just heard Lance Hill may finally be ready to part with the car. Widely known to be one of the best of the best, if not the best, owned 34 years by the long acknowledged authority on Daytonas, all of those collectors known to have been trying for years to pry it loose many now start lining up. If it is true.
