Given that US pricing for the Pista has not been revealed yet, I’m wondering if it is a fair assumption that it will be at or very near the Euro and British Pounds pricing after currency conversion? Is this the case for the 488 GTB/Spider and the 812? Would love thoughts on this, particularly from anyone who has looked into the currency comparisons.

I think that would be an accurate assumption. With that said I’m thinking base price around 290-300k and optioned our easily to 375-400k range for USA market.

Another way to guess it (from European prices): base price slightly (about 1 to 1.5%) higher than 812 base price (Pista base price including the cost of the "free" carbon options).

As I understand it, FNA will decide pricing for the US. However, is it likely that US pricing will closely mimic prices overseas (factoring in exchange rates)? Or, do US prices differ from other markets. I guess I always assumed values were always the same regardless of markets.

It would be interesting to know what the 488 GTB/Spider and 812 base prices are in Europe and the UK so see if they are the same in the US comparatively.

    UK base prices:
    812 - £263k
    488GTB - £197k
    488 spider - £219k

Your assumption of using exchange rates sounds reasonable.

In France : 488 GTB €226000, 488 Spider €251000, 812 SF €296000, Pista €292000 (not fully confirmed), all including 20% VAT (but not luxury and emissions taxes, which add €18500 on top of each price).
This means prices without VAT of about €188K, €209K, €247K and €243K, respectively.
Prices have just been increased, explaining why the 812 SF is actually more expensive than the Pista, while my previous assumption (of Pista more expensive) was considering the previous 812 list price (about €288K).

Based on exchange rates, from what we currently know (Euro and British Pounds rates), it would seem that the US base rate may likely be in the $355 - $360 range. Curious if anyone has reason to believe otherwise.

Pista UK price is GBP252k so +28% from GTB. In the US, that would imply $324k, think that's realistic. The key question is wether the carbon pack is included at that level, otherwise add an extra $30k+...Sure hope it is.
In any case a decently spec car will quickly run to 375/400k

No, in the Euro/GB market, the cars have VAT priced in to the sticker MSRP... so F cars are typically 12-18% lower (after currency conversion) in the USA. This goes for every F car, not just Pista. Pricing may still be a little higher than expected, but that's because typical CF options that are optional on a GTB, will be standard on the Pista.

Does anybody else find it surprising Ferrari’s largest market still doesn’t have pricing? I know US cars lag behind on delivery but one would think pricing is known by someone at FNA. I had pricing for the Speciale very shortly following launch. The price won’t change the fact I want one and intend to get it when my turn rolls around, but I would like to know just to see what all options are offered and what is standard etc....Anyway, my guess will be $325k base with “free” CF and 21k to round out all CF excluding CF wheels which will be $25k. Typical spec $375k-390k which prices in line with a well optioned 720s.

I’ve been dealing with the same speculation, hence why I started this thread. My dealer is just as frustrated. I suspect we will know once they get the configurator, I hope. Either way, I imagine your guess on base should be correct. To be safe, I’m adding $25k to my assumptions.

From what I have heard it will be in and around the starting price of an 812SF. Ferrari (in my opinion) is probably trying really hard to leave zero dollars on the table for dealers and flippers alike. I reckon there will be a slight rude awakening to those that think this is easy house money; I also believe some will walk when they realize that there will be option minimums and huge price increases compared to the Speciale and 488GTB. I heard some people chit chatting that this will be the one to finally make them a few dollars with a Ferrari, maybe, who knows.
