Thats a shame to hear. I believe eBay will allow you to relist it with no additional fees? I've had a few buyers flake on motorcycles they purchased, and eBay was surprisingly good about re-listing it and refunding all fees from the first listing. In my experience, eBay/paypal has always sided with the buyer first, but they treated me right in a similar situation to yours! Best of luck to you Uro!
Actually I sent him one reply: Keep the money and take the wife out to eat somewhere nice.. You guys confuse my aggravation with PEOPLE THAT TAKE MONEY FOR A SERVICE and then do slop **** work.. Uro gave a nice gun to an FFL, who then tossed it into the dumpster.. Oh no..he mailed it... Half assed packed. Without my phone number, so MY FFL had no way to reach me.. The gun is STILL there! Today... In pieces.... So basically just like the rest of my life. Fits right in!
I have had the flu since last Wednesday.. Full booked travel days Thursday and Friday (with the flu). Party Saturday night. Finished reassembling the crashed Ducati ST3, on Sunday afternoon!! The one that broke my nose in two places. New $200 battery in the Cadillac CTS, then it reset all the Codes I needed to have clear, for Inspection... It's just life.
Small wood chip and $100 refund check mailed to Tex today. Tex, if that is inadequate, let me know and I will make it right. That makes an over/under Beretta 20 ga a $250 gun. Candidly, it is hard to find a Beretta over/under 20 ga in ANY CONDITION for that price. Epoxy on the butt plate and the two small wood chips could make it....reasonably functional. If someone was careful, the repair could be nearly undetectable. As always, Tex may choose a FULL REFUND instead, simply by request.
What's next, what's next?? Still haven't gotten my hands on the 10/22. Gonna call and raise hell with my former FFL tomorrow I think.
No, it's not on your end. It's sitting at my FFL but he is in the middle of renewing his license. He failed to tell me that when I called to see if he'd do the transfer. So now I wait. It's been there for a week and a half. Nothing to do with your end at all.
LOL - Even those of us who are trying to restrain ourselves are like kids waiting for the toy store to open for the day.
Finally got it released to me today.. The gunsmith may have the whole stock in his used inventory..but in any event they were confident they can get it glued up and ready to roll. Send that last little bit you found. Thanks!! We wreck stuff....we fix stuff..
Might anyone be interested in a Sig Sauer 7mm Mag with an incredible set trigger? Retractable bolt lugs, chamber indicator, lever to unload WITH safety on. Incredible bluing. Set trigger, don't even LOOK at it when set. If so I might post it up. A set trigger allows you to have a very light trigger pull while still having a safe action. The trigger action is ineffective until the set trigger is actuated, so you can have a round in the chamber with less risk of an accidental discharge. A normal safe trigger pull is usually 3 lbs and up, while the actual trigger pull on a set trigger might be a few ounces. The set trigger can be a different motion on a single trigger or a second physical trigger, with either type pre-arming the actual trigger, which then fires with a much lighter pull than usual.
This one is activated by pushing forward. So, once you have target in crosshairs you push it forward. Then, the lightest touch to the trigger fires the rifle. This one can be fired in conventional manner as well. Set triggers are virtually extinct in the US for liability reasons.

You mean the last auction? Both $17,100. A bit disappointing. One important point, in contrast to the first auction, this car has now been proven to be numbers matching. Image Unavailable, Please Login
