    I got a call from my FFL saying the 10/22 came in. Then he tells me he is in the middle of renewing his license and it will be at least a week or so till he can transfer it to me. Woulda been nice to know that before I had it sent to him. He didn't bother mentioning that when I called.

    Maybe, but unusual color, and I'd call it a 3+, 2- maybe, mostly small elec. issues, nothing $1000 and a good mechanic couldn't sort out. too bad I live in the land of 10,000 degrees. This is no place for a car with no A/C, even a weekend bop-around to shows car. Still felt it was a $20K car given the condition and the delightfully honest listing.

    I'm home today, but headed out tomorrow for a couple days of R&R so I hear you on the nobody home. So for sure possible the viewing was a little light. But sometimes, just like at a live auction, you need two guys who really have to have the car to make it go on ebay. I sold a TR6 there a few years ago for way more than I thought I would, but there were a couple guys bidding each other up.

    Well, your FFL did a really poor job....
    No foam, a little bubble wrap...where to you want pictures of the damage??....:/

    A shame, it was a pretty piece...or pieces...

    I guess it needs a new stock and butt plate.....there was a previous slight crack repair, but this is a Freight Claim, or as my FFL opined, a packaging/shipper claim??

    Sorry to down your thread.....I shattered a tooth today too.

    Sadly, there's a chip missing on the TOP of that chip, ....I have some JB Weld...:D
    After breaking the barrel down, he should have immobilized the two pieces in the box...crumpled newspaper, even.

    I would suggest you not take advantage of the good nature of Uro on this one. The damage appears to be minor, and repairable for under $100.

    I believe that Tex was just relaying his disappointment in what was thought to be solely packing or shipping damage by the FFL or UPS/USPS, respectively.
    Being the Gentleman that Uro is, he offered to rectify the situation, though there was some very minor damage prior to the more significant shipping damage. As already noted, Uro went above and beyond what would be expected.

    Sorry to hear about both of those (rifle and tooth). I wish everyone took as much care in packing delicate/valuable objects as you do.
