Great work Scowman- it’s not quite fair to let only Laser do all the work re collecting data. @ Whammy I would suggest posting in this forum and the classified section “Wanted: 456 Luggage.” While not an owner I understand that the luggage sets are different for the pre-M and M series cars, maybe some others can chime in here. You might want to check eBay too (European ebay!!). Best of luck. Temple

The M set is COMPLETELY different and very hard to get. The GT and GTA sets are the same, aside from the GT set having a 4th case, that being the odd shaped ‘suit’ case. It fits in the spare wheel well of the GT. The GTA does not have a spare wheel well as the Auto takes up too much room. Also, there were two versions of the 456 non M luggage. The early version had the 456GT embossed into the front of the leather cases. The later version had 456 engraved into the clasps. Have tracked down a seemingly good condition 4 piece set. Thanks Gizzi I didn't know about the embossing versus engraving of the 456GT logo. The set I am getting has 456GT engraved so I guess its from a 1995 to 1997 car. Mine is 1995 so not sure which luggage it may have come with new. Do you know when Schedoni changed over? w
G My 1995 456GT has a spare wheel (see photo) added in England so the suit-shaped bag will not go in the wheel well. Have to find a spot for it! Maybe it will squeeze in between or above the other 2 large bags. w Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good work! You’ll be happier with the spare wheel mate. My wife and I use the suit case when we are going on a overnighter along with the beautiful shoe box, which is the hardest of all the cases to get because of its practicality. The large cases are huge and I’d be surprised if you fill both of them and the shoe box. The early 456’s had the embossed cases. From memory, 92 - 95 early sets, 95 - 97 late sets.
