I've received several PMs asking about these. While they were mentioned in a couple of older threads, they do take some digging to locate.

    EZBLEED THERMOSTAT BOLTS:

EZBleed Thermostat Bleed bolts are now available. They look just like shiny new OEM thermostat bleed bolts, but work like radiator bleed screws, & come with a new washer.

    BLEEDING THE OLD MESSY WAY:
W/O a the EZBleed, to bleed the radiator you have to:
    - Remove the thermostat bleed bolt. The air will come out in a hurry, followed by a pencil sized fountain of coolant( You'll want a BIG wad of towels handy!).

    - Now put the OEM bolt back in (Don't rush too much & drop the bolt!) & clean up the mess.

    BLEEDING THE EZ WAY:
With the EZBleed Radiator Bolt, you just loosen the bolt until you hear air escaping, then tighten the bolt again when you see coolant appear. A quick wipe to take care of the coolant & you're done.

The picture shows a copper washer. I will continue shipping with copper washers until the current inventory is depleted. However, after that I expect to ship with a reuseable fiber washer.

While doing my first major, I saw a post about this screw. Unfortunately, my 77 did not come with a thermostat bleeder, so when i got the coolant tubes welded up, i had the machinist weld a bung on the top of the old housing and install the screw.
It works well, easy to controll the bleeding process. Sorry for the bunk photo, it is all i had.

    hth,
    chris

I just haven't been able to get the machining time down to my original estimate. Also, I've had to add an order processsing charge to the shipping & insurance.

The EZBleed price is now: $25 each + $9.60 S&I.

I thought I'd already posted this change back in June, but apparently for got to hit the submit button. I'm sorry if recent invoices have caused confusion.

I just sold out. Please bear with me, I have material on order, should come in in about a week, will take me about another week to finish some more. I ordered enough brass stock so that I shouldn't get low again for 8 or 9 months.

I'm taking orders now for the batch that will be available in about 2 weeks.
