Looks like I'm going to have to re-advertise. It was looking very much as if 308GTS - HTN 707W was going to a new home in New Zealand, but potential buyer has had to pull out. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=234604 David Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bit of a long shot but I need the oddments box fitted in the Mondial 3.4t centre console, next to the gear lever. Mine is damaged and it's no longer available from Ferrari. In the highly unlikely event that anybody has one available I would buy it from you. I don't know if it's fitted in the earlier versions.
Wondering if any f-chatters are planning to sell his (her?) F430. The usual specs: Rosso Corsa Crema interior (will consider nero or sabia) Bordeaux carpets (will consider black) Sports seats (if possible - I know - super rare) 6-speed I've been scanning the pistonheads and autotrader. Just about all the cars for sale are from dealers. Just missed out on a F430 6-speeder with Sports seats for GBP 70k TIA
Unfortunately due to a change in work circumstances our client with the Corniche is now having to sell. Spec (as far as I know it) is as follows............ 1979 RHD. Caribbean Aqua Metallic with Beige hide piped blue, dark blue hood. Full & CONTINUOUS history including recent full service & hydraulic re-fit at Hillier Hill. Bare metal repaint including letting in new metal in the lower 12" all 'round & wheelarch repairs. New seals all round (doors, windscreen, bonnet, boot, drop glass felt etc, etc,) brushed stainless steel kick plates, etc etc. Re-fitted with all stainless steel nuts, bolts etc. 12mths MOT (advise on VERY slight play in wheel bearings - very common & quite acceptable apparently). The car was upgraded to Corniche2 spec at the factory in the 80's (though I don't have a great deal of info on this - best check all with owner). Huge history file including build sheet copies. Interior recently re-conollised. Lambswool overs, Nardi steering wheel etc. As with everything there are areas that can be improved (most notably the engine bay, maybe for concours some minor trim should be re-done & the bumpers - though perfectly good - are not at the same level as the rest of the car). All of the stainless steel items inc grille have been stripped down & bench machine polished whilst the repaint was in progress. Client is asking in the region of £45k, but IS negotiable. My opinion (FWIW) is that one would need to look long & hard & for some time before finding a nicer example. Mileage (from memory ) is about 95k. PM me for his contact details (BTW I won't 'make' anything out of this - I've put my heart & soul into the job & will be gutted if I lose touch with it!) Car is viewable either at my place for the next week or so or at the owner's place in Monmouth. As an explanation to Fchat members - this text is copied from a private forum & I am unable to attach pics as I have exceeded my quota! (Steve mate - get better!!!!!!) We have been working on this car for the past 10 months. Any interested parties can contact me via our website or call Sarah & we'll happily forward some pics. It really is the most stunning car & feel awful for the owner who has been placed in a very difficult position due to the current economic situation. Thanks guys, Al
I would like to put the word out to the F/Chat Community in the U.K that I am looking for some BB parts for the restoration of my 1978 512BB. The main item is a RHD dash and glovebox. I have all the instruments. It will be fine if the it needs recovering at this point. There are other items required but it would be a long list to post here. If anyone knows of such parts gathering dust on a shelf somewhere from a written off boxer, PM me and I will contact you or the owner. Many thanks Murray Glegg
I've now subscribed again (yes......I know Steve..............finally!) So here's a couple of pics........................... I bid and won a few plates at the recent DVLA auction. I tried to cancel two of them before the end ("600 FFX" and "FHM 848E" which of course spells "FHM BABE") as I found and bid a much higher amount on a very short plate. I e-mailed DVLA to cancel these but apparently they "didn't receive this request" so I'm having to buy all three. As I managed to get my perfect plate, these two are up for grabs. The FHM 848E plate is perfect for any hot girl (and spells this perfectly unlike many naff misspelt numbers) and 600 FFX is just a cool dateless plate. £1000 for either which is roughly what they're costing me each with VAT and fees. PM me if interested in either.
