Paul - would you consider the color of the car to be a cream (white with a little yellow & brown) or more of a gray-white. I am painting the GTE and the original color was white with a grayish tone; an "antique white". Just curious about other cars using this color.
Tom, The car is a lovely cream. Really very much like a banana (the bit you eat, not the skin). I have attached a few more pictures of it and how it can appear in differing lights. It would be worth contacting Paul Russell for more details regarding the specifics of the colour. See also Cavallino issue # 142 of August/September 2004. Thanks Paul for posting these pictures, looks like you had a good time at the concours. Is the number plate of the 275 NART spider a genuine one, or fake? Best, Peter
Hi Peter, Yes, thoroughly enjoyed it, the weather and various other events on the same weekend certainly reduced the numbers in attendance but what lacked in quantity was more than made up for in quality. The Club always manage to bring out some really important cars and always makes the trip worthwhile. Especially 0064 M and 3387, two cars I have not seen before. The plate on the NART Spyder is genuine. Paul
Enjoying the photos and comments. I have participated in the FOC Concours for each of the past six years and won first in class twice. I have also covered almost 20K miles in that time. Also taken a stack of photos and showing these on my daytonaramblings website. I have just added some shots of this weekends Concours. Would appreciate any comments or thoughts. http://www.daytonaramblings.com/ferrari-owners-club-concours.html

Well done on your win , Andy.

Thank you for the clarification. It is very interesting to see how white cars change colors under different lighting conditions. The search goes on!
It was good to meet you Again at Sandringham Andy. Your photos are great and very professional, and I must also congratulate you for your 1st in class at the concours. Considering how many miles you have done in the car recently, it was a great testament to you and your car. Was it 5 hours driving to Sandringham a few weeks ago? Grant PS. I was the sad person, photographing the label on your seat belts, to prove to the Daytona registry, that 1973 UK cars Daytona's had different seat belts, than those shown on the registory.
Sandringham was over six hours! But that was dry and after driving home Sunday in torrential rain, I don't think I will be winning anything for a little while. Appreciate the comments and hope you are moving forward with your re-build. Cheers.
What a fantastic looking event. I hope all involved had a great. It is lovely to see all those incredible cars in one place.
Thank you, you are most probably right, I was going from memory, not bad though, considering I don't know what appointments I have scheduled for tomorrow! One thing I cannot forget is how beautiful the car was with the roof down... Amazing!
We were there too......... #14273. - The only representative on display from the East Anglian area of the FOC. There were many questions and lots of interest in the project. Looking forwards to future progress. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful, thanks for posting. As an aside I love the names of English towns, like Northamptonshire, old English architecture and the lovely green English countryside. -F
