I doubt it. This is a £140k car with a couple of extras. I cannot see the retail price getting anywhere near that in the short term. Perhaps someone could research how long it has taken any Ferrari's retail price to get to almost 50% of its new price.

the only car that holds there money when they are over 7 years old is a ltd build car like the cs 110 made i think so they will always do good money common 360 production buld cars will be worthless compaired to the cs

Must see a doctor as I find myself agreeing with stevef again...

Form on these - original buyers buy. Many flip them very soon. Others keep their toe in for a bit but sell when the first 430s come on stream. A number are bought by proper enthusiasts with no real intent to sell for a few years.

When the new model comes in, they'll duck under 100k, possibly to around the 90k mark. But I think they'll stick there for a good while as the number then owned by proper enthusiasts will increase (and they won't sell, reducing supply).

CS' will always be worth more than a stock 360, and when you consider that these have only just dipped below 60k, with most a good chunk above it, I think it'll be some time before a RHD 360CS drops to 75k. LHD won't be there that much sooner either.

Much will also depend on the 430CS...how many will they build, how good will it really be, both in comparison to the stock 430 and the 360CS...

    Agreed good post

When you consider any 430CS is going to cost in the region of £150.000+

I can't see a 360CS getting down below £100k anytime soon, i maybe wrong but at just over 100 they would start me thinking of one

I think they're nicking under 100k now. I'm sure there was a RHD one at 5 quid or so below. But most are above that and plenty still not much less than list. The 6-figure bracket is a psychological one though - they won't dive radically from there for a good few years I think (8yrs+ if other models are anything to go by).

stevef - I'm not sure Ferrari could have sold any more 512M's! Capability is all well and good, but the looks! Fatima Whitbread was a great javelin thrower. But I wouldn't have wanted to go on a date with the lass!

stevep - I'm surprised you can tell. And anyway, chaa hasn't posted on this thread yet so what are you doing replying here? :D

If you don't mind the mileage, there's one with 36000,on Autotrader, but it is £89995,possibly lhd as well.
    There's also a lhd with 2500 miles at £95995

Off topic posts deleted. Please don't hijack the serious Ferrari threads. There's enough silly threads around at any one time that you shouldn't need to do this

IMO the premium the CS holds over the standard 360 is not going to grow. So you can pretty much guage CS prices from how standard 360 prices are going.

The biggest problem for the 360 mould cars (and I include the 430) is the numbers that are out there. Just think how many very similar F's will be on the roads once 430 production ramps up.

I really don't believe residuals will hold aswell as most expect, when you can pick up a 60k 360 which looks very much like a 100k+ CS or 130k 430.

I know this is common practice for Ferrari (308/328, 348/355, ..) but the differnece is the numbers the cars are now being produced in. Like it or not, the F car market north of 100k is very much driven by the exclusivity factor.

I love reading peoples views on how the value of this tipo Ferrari or that tipo Ferrari goes down when their profile says they do not own one . hahahha

Non-owners may well be a bit more keen to keep an eye on used values Ray. And owners may well have a very rose tinted view of their car's value.

So surely it makes no difference whether they're an owner or not. Just takes 5mins to look in the classifieds and have a word with dealers....

No I'm not an F car owner. I do own a Lambo (and I readily admit residuals are ****ty), and am in the market for my second 120+k car in a year though :).

I think that qualifies my opinion more so then quoting advertised prices. Since walking in with cash ready usually cuts the BS quite quickly and reveals what people are really ready to take.

And as Murph said I have no reason to look at the situation through Rose tinted glasses. Being in the market I'm objective (although my personal preferences will have a bearing, but I like the 430 so not in this case). And its not as though my comments are gonna affect prices for my purchase, so what do I care?

I thought the point was the fact I dont own fcars means I'm not qualified to comment on resdiuals.

I didn't make that comment to say I am doing well. Just to show that my comments come as more then a casual observer.

I'm not trying to pick a fight. But by the same token if someone quotes my post and questions it on the basis of what I do and don't own I'm going to set it straight :)
