One of my 8 year twins loves to sing. She copies all the big hits off Youtube and sings to them. Currently loves Taylor Swift and sings all her songs.

Both my girls have guitars and are now learning to play Violin at school. They are really enjoying that.

They always keep telling me they want to write and sing songs. I will let them listen to this song and I am sure they will love it also.

 

Cool! Hopefully she’ll make it big and buy dad more cars!

 

That's my plan with my kids.

I've failed in life, so hopefully they can make something of themselves so they can help Daddy out.

Yep. Which is why they also play Soccer, do Gymnastics and Sikaran also to keep them busy.

And yes, we did recorder, violin, ukulele, piano and clarinet for that reason.

And the Clarinet did take her on a trip to Europe and she played at Saint Mark's Basilica!

Now she plays nothing.

Yeah, that's what I think will happen with my girls also Horse.

But that's ok, as long as they had an opportunity to play some form of musical instrument in their young lives and hopefully they are still interested in playing something musical when they are older, if not all good.

I wanted to play guitar when I was a kid, but my parents never got me one. I purchased my own guitar when I started working when I was 18 years old.

Maybe if I started to play when I was younger I would have been "over it" by my early 20's, I don't know. I am really enjoying playing it again now after taking a few years off because of the kids.

We try not to cram guitar or violin practice down their necks, we don't want them to hate playing them. They still enjoying playing them when they do and they also play recorder at school, not at home thank god! lol

Yep, hoping the interest is rekindled later. Very busy at Uni so can understand not having the time now.
