Nice pics General. I'm sure I saw your 599 Ken. I believe it was the only one there. As I was admiring it, the alarm went off, so I figured it must be telling me something like get lost, lol. I did have a nice chat with a gentleman who has a Blue 612 Scaglietti with a standard gear box He really enjoys that car. What a Great turn out and awesome weather. Anyone get a count?
Hi Anthony: Yes, that was my 599. I never knew there was a motion detector in them, thus leaving the windows open can set off the alarm, even due to the wind. Glad you saw the car. I may know of one for sale. If I can confirm this, I will send you the info Ken Goldman
What's a Lambo? Great turnout yesterday. More Ferraris in one place than I have ever seen in the past.
They announced just around noon that the 200th Ferrari had entered which they also said was a show record. Interestingly there was only 1 Tr to be seen. Mine.
I also attended the Tutto Italiano yesterday. Great turnout but I was hoping to see a LaFerrari but no such luck. Here is a link to my FlickR album, too many photos to attach. https://www.flickr.com/gp/35915195@N05/8h011n Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great! In case I ever get a second Ferrari, we played a game as to which one should the next one be? My wife picked your car!
Kenny, Your car looked great! Happy to take home a second place trophy for my 75 308GT4- not bad considering there were over 200 Ferrari entrants! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a lot of nice cars on Sunday and had a nice ride home with Dino944 and his immaculate 328! Here's a video link if you want to see of the cars leaving the show http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=video&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCAQtwIwAGoVChMIl-7XhtiPxwIVwnI-Ch0k1wex&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3De1noZiaPnAo&ei=0dLAVdfBIcLl-QGkrp-ICw&usg=AFQjCNHtOBjzzTcm1mh7uYq28P8b6FiL3g
Ken- yes I'd like to see the list- Also they took my picture with the trophy- But i can't seem to figure out who the people were who took the picture and where they will put the photo?? Does anyone know?
Great photos - thanks for the link! I am looking for photos of my 456M (only one there) and 328 GTB (the one with tan interior and 17" Compomotive wheels). If anyone may have photos that you could send, would you mind PM'ing me? I took photos of other cars, but didn't take any of my own! Here's one of my son and I detailing the 456 prior to the event. Well this is not the best picture, but it is part of your car (we were parked back to back). Truth be told there was a very attractive woman in a slinky black Ferrari dress that was posing and before I could get my cell phone out she started to walk off. You can see her just above your roofline. Sorry Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, it was a great show. It couldn't have been a better day. I do remember seeing your 456M, beautiful car. Those rims look perfect on the 456, stock? I only recall one other 456 on the road many years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
HA - no worries, I love that story. I almost tripped down an entire flight of stairs when I saw the same woman. Thanks - great photo! Wheels are not stock - 19" Novitec NF2s (stocks were 17s). One of the reasons I love the Novitecs so much is that they look stock.
I sent an email to a generic Lars Anderson address and received a response from Jennifer Arone <[email protected]>: "Rich, We may post them in the next week or two. Thanks, Jenn" "May post them"? I understand that , like most museums, a good deal of work is done by volunteers supporting a small paid staff but I was hoping for more than the answer above. What's the old saying about the Squeaky Wheel? maybe a few more emails would get the list and pictures published. This years event was truly spectacular - the best Tutto yet. Kudos to all of the volunteers and the museum staff! It would be nice if they could recognize all of the folks who took something home and helped make their event a success. I took Best in Class for my 308 GTB there a few years back and never saw anything then either. Very happy to get 3rd place for my Maserati this year and have my picture taken. A a friend and F360 Spyder owner took the picture below. Image Unavailable, Please Login
