Hello, saw you in Brookline today/Sunday. Fill me in on the FRONT MA Lic plate you have on the car. --thanks, George (360F1 Spider)
I got there around noon and it was a really impressive show. Great vintage Ferrari stuff represented. I heard rumors of Countaches, but I guess we got there too late and the owners got scared off by the clouds.
For a local show the turnout was good despite some comments that all the good stuff was at the FOC event.
As far as I know, there no Countaches at the show. There were roughly 5 Gallardos and one Diablo. In general there were lots of spectators, but several people that had been to previous Tuttos thought that there were fewer exotic cars at the show than in previous years. Maybe some were scared off by weather. Still it was a fun show. Best regards, Dino
lemme get my pics up got roughly every ferrari i saw there the dino was scared off early sadly no pics of it definelty a beauty though
I saw four Gallardos and a silver Diablo 30th anniversary edition. There were not a single Countach or Murcielago. No wonder I did not see the Dino. 308 Dino left around what time? Will upload the pictures from Tutto Italiano 2009 later tonight.
Not sure about the 308 but a 246 Dino left just before noon. I've got pics too but they are all grainy (wrong camera setting).
No possibility about it I didn't get a chance to say any more than hello to him yesterday. You always assume you'll get a chance to catch up later and then never do.
i went the past couple years and this year there was defiantly a lot less cars. i would say about half as many cars since previous years. the did have more bikes (ducati usa had a big trailer there)
i know he said hey i gotta go to the bathroom to me and then left and i stayed were i was to see if hed come back and never saw him again
the absence of lambo of boston hurt, but i think the big problem here is the date...just too many things going on this time of year hope everyone caught the alfa montreal tho...a super survivor
i saw that it was an ugly green i hope you guys had the chance to go in the museum and see the alfa 8c one of 140 something in the us
The FOC meet certainly cut down on some of the better cars but there's still the Labor Day Festival at Lime Rock
Well the loo lines tend to be long there and one of the best photo ops is from the mens room window. LOOKING OUT!
I don't think it was the absence of Lambo of Boston, or the time of year. Lambo of Boston would bring a few cars but there were never really that many Lambos in attendance at Tutto. Including what Lambo of Boston brought I'd estimate 10 or fewer Lamborghinis in attendance in recent years. One year that I attended, I believe only 2 or 3 Lambos in attendance were privately owned. As for the time of year, Tutto has been held on the first Sunday in August for several years and there were a lot more Fcars in previous years. Maybe it was the weather, or maybe as a result of the economy some people sold their exotic cars.
It probably was the memory of driving home in a downpour last year! For me it was weather prediction and the 4 hr. round trip drive...but had a great time last year, love the location and the cars in the museum.
That definitely makes me feel better (seriously--was really bummed about potentially missing Countaches). I think the Lusso was the big mind-blower for me. Very cool of the owner to bring it out for the masses to see. BTW--any pics of that short-haired Ducati model? She was attractive to say the least.
