    Once again, the Peninsula Classic picks a winner from the eight big concours of the previous year.

    Automobile Quarterly did a piece on this car maybe 50 years ago.
    Car was built for some sort of Indian royalty...the two little lights on the front fender designated who was driving.
    If it was the Maharajah (or whatever) you had to bow.
    If it was his wife? Carry on.
    Incredible car.

    Hard to believe I've been a "fan" of this vehicle for probably 50 years...AQ also did a spread on a 427 Cobra...silver, photographed on a bed of tan leaves. I can visualize it to this day.

    It's funny how these things just get seared into our brains. I have a few cars like that where I just saw the picture in a magazine or a book and it never ever left.
