unfortunately i dont have the car in front of me, let alone able to get it in the air... so just trying to collect what i need before i go collect it.

is it possible to get a socket on the crank pulley and turn it over without taking the wheel off?
is it possible to do this from the top side? or do i have to be underneath/inside the wheel well?

(PS, smog pump seized, and i know there's a lot of conversation as to whether to keep or excise the old relic. hopefully i'll follow up and say timing wasn't affected and can worry about the headers and injectors next week)

Difficult if it is not in the air. Really needs to be bottom if wheel and inner fender is in place.

On my GT4 I can do comfortably from above with a deep socket and a 1/2” ratchet but I have no AC compressor and wheel liner installed yet.
