How did so many people get tickets?

 

I had a blast and so did my girlfriend/co-pilot. My hats off to the organizers of the event. This was well put together...can't wait for the next one.

PS- I was in the the red chrylser 300c srt8...

Seth and Hovik, incredible run guys, great job! I have over 800 pictures to look through now! That was probably one of the best meets/runs I've ever been on, second only to the last Fall Foliage event you guys organized. Closing the highway off for us was a blast, it really helped get the run started off right. I'll post the pictures soon! Can't wait till the next event!

That was pretty much the extent of it. Would be nice to see them do a nice story on it though. Maybe next time .

Yes that's right.. it was one of those times that you had to be there to understand.

hey Joe you were definitely one of the bravest with the CGT that came out, was looking forward to meeting you but with 200 people there you kinda get lost i guess until the next time.

 

Anytime you mix the following:

High Performance Exotic/Sports Cars + Testosterone + Uncontrollable Reflex in the Right Foot = going over the posted speed limit and driving 65 instead of 55mph.

I myself accelerated from 5mph to 55mph in a 50mph zone, I was pulled over by the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, who then took my paperwork and made me sit there as I watched him in my rear view mirror doing absolutely nothing buy smiling while the rest of the cars passed. As soon as the last car past he gave me back my paperwork and told me that he felt my windows were too dark but he didnt have a tint meter handy, that I was speeding but didn't have a radar gun, and that I have no front plate. The front plate is true, but who in their right mind is going to screw a plate to a Lamborghini bumper???

Well I wound up with no tickets

Great pictures, everyone!! I'm glad I could at least see pictures from the event. It's not like me to flake, but I got really sick around 5:30 on Saturday night and was unable to keep anything down. Also, I thought maybe I'd try to come for a little while, but found that a train was going to take 3 hours each way and a car service wanted a ridiculous amount of money...that on top of being very sick made it impossible for me to attend. I hope you all had as much fun as it appears to have been.

 

I would like to take a moment to apologize to Seth's wife (Terri?) for confusing her with Stephanie

No problem - I caught that at the end. When we got home I looked up Stephanie on the forum and showed her a picture - she was very grateful that she wasn't some "busted mess!"

Haha oh no, I never would have asked her if I didn't think they were both similar, attractive looking women and your wife appeared to be alone, while you were up at the podium of course.
