I honestly don't know if I will be able to make it to the event, but I will certainly try. I mentioned it to my girl friend last night and she said she's not interested in going. Now, if I go alone it could get really scary for me as I don't know my way around--AT ALL. I suppose I'd have to take the train to the city, a cab to the ferry, a ferry ride to Staten Island, and a cab to the dealership...all before 8am? Haha. I'm a smart girl, but I worry that I'll get lost or mugged on my way! I'll really have to play it all by ear and see how things go. I'd love to go, but she's not a car girl and since I'm visiting with her we have to do things we both enjoy. Maybe it would work out if my brother wants to go... oh hell, who knows wtf will happen? We'll see...

this will be in Long Island not Staten Island, some one will chim in and tell you what train to Long Island, or you can grab a ride with someone, where are you staying now in Brooklyn Or NYC ???

Oh man, I'm such a goofball! See?! Didn't I say I'd probably get lost? I'd be in Staten Island and everyone else would be in Long Island. Good one. I will be staying in Brooklyn. How far is LONG ISLAND from there?

 

Depends where in brooklyn and where in long island. not far though, could be as little as fifteen minutes.

 

Wow! Not bad...that makes it a LOT easier for me.

If I had a car and mapquest I wouldn't worry at all, but I've never taken public transportation in my life. If it's only about a 15-30 min trip, I don't see why I couldn't come out for a little while.

On edit: it would be really fun to rent an exotic and tag along for the rally...but I don't trust myself driving in NY.
