Kartchner Caverns is incredible (https://azstateparks.com/kartchner/) Also, the UofA mirror lab has a tour that is supposed to be awesome (https://mirrorlab.arizona.edu/content/tours-tickets). Are you into aviation? There's a good airplane museum (http://www.pimaair.org/) and also the ballistic missile museum only a short drive away (http://www.titanmissilemuseum.org/). I think they still do tours of the boneyard too (massive airplane graveyard with planes in various states of ready).

I Just came back from Tucson last month. Took my family to Tusque Verde Ranch. Stayed there for 2 nights. Kids had a GREAT time riding horses. There is a bar there too. (Not a great one)

 

Second the airplane stuff and the Sonora desert museum. There is a great mountain biking trail system in town, if your into that.
