One of the finest auto museum in the world is in Mulhouse, The Musée National de l'Automobile, ex-Schlumpf collection. It's not in Paris though, but about 400Km east . I agree with Baraka, the Schlumpf brothers museum is the place to visit when you make a trip to France. The only place in the world where you can see 150 Bugatti ! See here : http://www.*************/gallery/119513/417/1.html
The Mulhouse is worth it if you are near by. Vast collection from 1890 to present including some F1 cars. I visited in 2002.
