Hello everyone, I’ve been noticing on some F430s that there is a silver metal trim piece to protect the carpet near the door sill. Some have it, others don’t. Was this an option or is my car missing this? Thanks! Image Unavailable, Please Login

'05 F430 Full leather interior . I have these protector plates on both sides of the door sill. Guess it was an option,
I have a 2009, I’m looking at my sticker for the options and the only thing I can think it’s part of is the leather upholsterered rear bench or the carbon fiber lower zone or a combination of both, but since some cars have it without the carbon lower zone, there may be some option combinations that have it and some that don’t.
