OK you don't know ...poor thing you. The story told years ago , was that Bib went to the UK to learn about the car and to assemble it ,when it got to Australia ,the car that arrived was not the one Bib helped with assembling .
Wonderful photos, it must have been brilliant growing up & having a Dad with all those racing cars over the years which ones do you still have?
Pete Dad passed away 3 years ago after a short fight with an aggressive cancer at age 71...We still have a couple of coopers and LDS and the rear engine Cooper Bristol...Also a prewar Supercharged MG K type that needs restoration...His brother Bruce still has a FE Cooper Bristol, The Brooklands Riley, Acceca Bristol and a bunch of other cars...
It’s a KN Rob with original K3 Body and wheels...I’ll have to look up which car the body was off...I also think the engine and Pre selector box is K3 as well...
Just keep it away from those are-holes on triple MMM register ,as No doubt one of them will have a claim to the chassis number , if its a long lost car .
It’s not...It has a continuous documented history...I know those Fwits try..Bonhams sold a FE Cooper Bristol with an engine that Dad has...The problem is his engine had a well documented Australian history from the Lukey Bristol...They looked like slapped arses when it was bought to a head... The engine lives in Bowral now...
