Quite a creepy video I found on the net: Somebody driving over a little pass very close to where I live in winter with a TR (not 100% sure if it is a TR, any thoughts?).

I have driven these roads hundreds of times and where he passes the other car I would never pass a car even in dry conditions.

I think that's an Mazda MX5. Headlights are too small and the line on that dash looks just like the MX5.

 

Toyota MR2 is my guess, its certainly not a V12

80 km/h in switzerland - you remember?

 

Maybe you will laugh but the needle is always below 100 kph (well not 80, but less than 100 kph is affordable to pay…) when I drive on these roads in Switzerland. That’s the nice thing with this small pass. Many narrow turns and no long straight lines where you would be too fast. Maybe there are 3 straights where you could do more than 100 kph even with a fast car.

BTW: A friend of mine has a 458. He got flashed with 127 kph (in a 80 kph zone). He lost his license for 3 months immediately (his brother and his wife had to come to take his car home) and he paid CHF 10 000…

today I have read you are voting a new "nationalrat" ( parlament ).
are there any options to cancel this silly speed limit?

been there and done that - literally. no fun allowed.

 

on all streets except in city and town and on "autobahn", there you may go 120 km/h ( on autobahn of course ), but the radar there is in the guardrails you never see, and if you see it is too late. terrible ! ! !

Yes we really have some great roads here (and some very tough laws as well). But let’s talk about our cars and not about laws. Best thing is, these roads are only about 5 minutes away where I live and when I go to work I always drive these roads. There is nothing better than to know you can take your F-car and drive these roads to work!

Yes, the gear lever is louder than the engine The mic is inside the car. I was experimenting with an external mic but did not get good results so far. I guess I have to have another try next summer.
