Except for the chrome horse and the fender badges, very nice. Beautiful countryside.

This is a great video. I've watched a lot of Doug's videos. He is extremely witty and enthusiastic. Very different reviewer. The way he lights up with the TR puts a huge smile on my face, because he really gets it. Being someone who has sold one and missed it so much that I bought another one, I really understand how special this last-of-the-analog-v12's is. I've watched this 3 times already and could marathon it with Harry's Garage.

Hi Gordon, yes this film is great indeed !

I had a 512TR for 6 years, sold it and am now a very happy 458 driver. Never missed my 512TR one day ... :)

Any chance on a photo of your second TR ?

Mel, did you and Martin upgrade your diff with the same UK company? How did you like it and what was the cost for parts and labour to install?

Fun to watch. Thanks for posting!

But what's with all the whining about the "heavy" steering and clutch? Clearly he's never driven a Diablo. They may be heavy compared to his father's Oldmobile, but compared to a lot of cars of yore they're nothing. Frankly, it's a total non-issue for me, to the point where I miss the weighting when driving other cars.

But he did sum it up pretty well-- the 993TT is a car anyone can drive every day-- it's fast and it's practical, but it has only a tiny fraction of the "specialness" of the Ferrari. Driving a 993 is very much like driving a "normal" car. Driving the Ferrari is an event.

If you can daily drive a Lamborghini LM002 driving any other car is like walking on cake. :)

After stepping out from my LM002 the 512TR steering feels like its power assisted, closest metaphor its like doing a bench press with heavy weights for the first set and going for 50% less weight on the second set.

Yes we did and many, many more people.

The technicians that put them in were enthousiast about the Forza diffs.

Pricing is very competitive and sure imo not too expensive. Find an oem TR diff ... is more than twice in price ...

Phill also has some "extra's" that came in handy (shimm sets and bearings) and sells that as a Diff Set..

    Good luck!

Anything on spotting a car for you in Europe Matt ? You know how to reach me ?

We have an LM and a TR and I can agree. The wife is a small person and she drives both. The LM poses no problem for her to park at all. Not so with the TR.
