Big thanks to Tony & Mario for a most excellent run and to Daytona for the warm hospitality after the run!!!! Without guys like Tony & Mario we couldn't organize a "one car funeral procession", thanks again and I hope we can do another one next spring? Looks like I missed this event! I got few email ride offers for the cruise (thanks for the offer for those who emailed me!), but I had to work for Audi yesterday (last minute thing) so I had to miss this cruise. See post #one. Thanks Tony for getting this drive up & running--& to think you were thinking of calling it off because of poor response!!! Also a big thank you for the treats at staring point. And of course to the guys at Daytona Auto for hosting a wonderful lunch after the drive. I have to admit I was a little nervous having all those cars on drive but everything went smoothly. Since I was the lead car I missed the sight of the train of exotics that I see in the photos. We seemed to break away in a group of 5 or six. I had Tony on my tail most of the drive & was surprised to have Angelo right behind me at the finish considering he was so far back. Those Fords are always trying to upstage the Ferraris. Good mix of cars (some we rarely see) & great people, lots of great photos (we have some talented people on the forum) and most of all great copilot--did not get lost once. Chris are you trying to to insinuate Mario Andretti was on the drive? Thanks again to all participants that made this a great event. We could not have done it without you.
