My new 328 should do what? I've read 150-160 or so. What is your experience in a 328? How about your fastest Ferrari experience? What car & top speed?
BTW: I've had my Miata to 135 on I-16 w/ top down.

Took my gt4 to 220kph(140mph) on the freeway and it was a smooth ride.No shakes, rattles or rolls.Felt like it still had more as the speed was increasing but backed off for fear of making the newspaper headlines

My owner's manual says 171 mph top speed for my 348 spider. Haven't got there yet... can't really imagine that speed in that convertible but will be fun to try sometime!!!

    Cheers

I have personally only hit 130 a few times in my 328...From what I have read, 150 (actual) is about all you can expect out of a NA version of the 328 (though the speedo may read 155 or 160).

I am all ears if anyone has seem more....

115 - 120 mph in my '84 Mondial QV two weeks ago at Lime Rock Park with the Ferrari Club. Going down the front straight, then threshold braking down to 35 - 45 to go into Big Bend. Plan on taking it to Pocono Raceway with the club in October and see what it will do on the long straights there (assuming my missing Gotti wheel ever shows up).

I've seen 275 km/h (172 mph) on the dial in my 348 ts on two occasions on the German Autobahn.
Probably more like 265 km/h in reality...

i hope you both get thrown in jail (unless it was in the NT)

everyone knows that if you exceed the posted limit in australia by even 1km you and everyone within 100km is likely to die a horrible death :)

I've done around 145 a few times with my 87 328. Many times around 130 - 135. It was still pulling but ran out of room!

    I love the Carousel.
It rewards both bravery and finesse.
I could spend an entire week trying to raise my exit speed, bit by bit, out of that turn in order to charge up the hill into turn 7 that much faster.

It's too bad I've only done it in a Jim Russell formula car. There's no way I'd ever hit 165!

By the way, my 330 sees double digit speeds each and every time I take it for a drive. (I bet you're impressed...)

Supposedly a 89 328 thats serviced here at a shop has hit 169, it has a few minor mods done to it, probably 169 indicated.

The 328 is one of the few Ferraris that can hit redline in 5th gear maybe someone can do a math calcuation on what that would be.
