    Automotive Restoration in Stratford, CT is pretty well known for some high winning clients cars like Peter Kalikow

    color restoration in longmont colorado. they did the chemical strip and respray of my 308 - magnificient!!!!!!!

    Tru Dat but not only can he restore them he has such juice in the old country that if you travel with him you can leave your P 3/4 parked on the street all day unattended without worry.

    no question that david carte is the man, but as i discussed w/ mark, will he do a boxer?

    david is very busy but having a boxer w/ carte pedigree would add significant value to the extent that it could even cover the costs to restore what is already a very nice car.

    we may want to change the spirit of the thread and get specific w/ respect to restoration of a carb bb.

    I've heard that Bill Pollard at Sport Auto located in Gaylordsville Connecticut is in the top tier as well (no personal experience). Though I'm not sure if he's done any of Peter K.'s cars... ;)

    bollard is great but he is not known as an auto restorer. he is a tremendous technician however and a very solid guy. he is the guy to leave your complex problems to...he will make them go away!

    There is also Classic Coach in Elizabeth, NJ. A visit there has the same effect on the Tifosi as a trip to the Playboy Mansion does on Bill Clinton.
