    Yep,you're correct.
I live 1100 miles from my Ferraris',indeed I bought a house with a large shed to house them in Brisbane.I rent the house and now the shed has mine and my partners' 2 Italian cars as well(she works O/S).
I lent my 365 to a participating member of the rally and I drove the 330.
My co-pilot on the rally flew up from Melbourne and with a Gold Coast mate, drove both cars down some 'roads less travelled' down to Melbourne.
Had a Barby(I DID cook the prawns BTW),then boarded the ferry to Tassie, did the rally and drove the 365 back to Bris. The 365 driver paid for one of the cars to be freighted back(330 as it had developed a diff whine).
There are some photo's on the Aussie McKay thread if you like.

My register says there are 31 known(club) 365s.

Well done for looking after those fine cars and the trip you did well I have never been to Aussie but was trying to picture those roads and I thought of dust trails and carless stretches what a blast. best of luck down there.

Err no mate, thats my GT4 with the wheels off.
The C4 was on it's shakedown drive after a full engine rebuild,no miles on it and drove down from Sydney, much like I did last year in my 330.

We use Stabile in all of cars as fuel does brake down after a while.

If your car isn't laid up for the winter you probably don't
    need it.

I agree about your valve seats probably being fine.

In our 60ies cars we add a shot glass of go kart oil to the
fuel every once and a while as modern fuel is less lubricating.
