Further to last Simon you guys down there cover some miles, jings its true you guys think nothing of a 1000 mile trip just to pop over to the neighbours for a barbie! The 365 is pure class cant be too many of those down there. Alastair
Yep,you're correct. I live 1100 miles from my Ferraris',indeed I bought a house with a large shed to house them in Brisbane.I rent the house and now the shed has mine and my partners' 2 Italian cars as well(she works O/S). I lent my 365 to a participating member of the rally and I drove the 330. My co-pilot on the rally flew up from Melbourne and with a Gold Coast mate, drove both cars down some 'roads less travelled' down to Melbourne. Had a Barby(I DID cook the prawns BTW),then boarded the ferry to Tassie, did the rally and drove the 365 back to Bris. The 365 driver paid for one of the cars to be freighted back(330 as it had developed a diff whine). There are some photo's on the Aussie McKay thread if you like. My register says there are 31 known(club) 365s.
Absolutely excellent Jealousy from Scotland, BTW also had prawns tonight though they were steamed cos it was too Dammed cold outside for any barbecues!!!! Well done for looking after those fine cars and the trip you did well I have never been to Aussie but was trying to picture those roads and I thought of dust trails and carless stretches what a blast. best of luck down there.
Did you check out the photos'?They start on about page 36 of that thread,I think. We did have some varied road conditions as you will see. This is also COMPLETELY!!! going off topic of this thread, sorry to all you mob.
Although completely off the topic much better than my boring stats about oil !!!! What is the name of the thread? I was looking is it under Aussie Mckay intrgued to see the photos. Other images I think of Australia Sun , big farms , fine wine, gorgeous women , beaches of white sand lucky bxxxxstds.

Err no mate, thats my GT4 with the wheels off. The C4 was on it's shakedown drive after a full engine rebuild,no miles on it and drove down from Sydney, much like I did last year in my 330.
That was some rally, great photos. I think you guys down there know how to have fun. The 330 looks very cool.
Well we are all here for a good time, after all. Make the best out of it. If you ever get down here, make a note of when, you'll find us an hospitable mob.
We use Stabile in all of cars as fuel does brake down after a while. If your car isn't laid up for the winter you probably don't need it. I agree about your valve seats probably being fine. In our 60ies cars we add a shot glass of go kart oil to the fuel every once and a while as modern fuel is less lubricating.
