Guys what is the difference between titanium and standard exhaust ? Only the back pipes which is visible from the rear bumper are black ? Or it's a full exhaust system ? Is it easy to change from standard to titanium ? Thanks
I have titanium on my TDF and it is just the exterior finish . Was an expensive option for just a colour change.
So it's only tail pipes which you can change easily ? Just for look? Cause I thought maybe it's a titanium full back exhaust ))
Tail pipes may well mean the rear back boxes in reality. They cost £1200 as opposed to £360 for the sports exhaust. That suggests something more than a surface finish.

I think the black finish is the sport option. From the photo it looks like you have titanium. Having said that, I cannot recall the standard finish either. Shoes we are both mad, spend that money and we have no idea what we have bought... I was told I needed it !!!!
Really strange, because when i spec my car in configuration I remembered that when you click titanium exhaust , it became black . But in reality it's not black. Also same for 458 Speciale, 488 in configuration .
Is it the exhaust tips that can be optioned in titanium or is it the actual muffler back box that is titanium. The latter would be surprising to me.
Armytrix make full titanium exhausts and the version they have for the California makes it scream like an F1 car. Wonder if it has the same effect here in terms of enhancing the F1 scream that the FF has at high rev ranges.

Paul's titanium exhaust has for lack of a better word a 'satin' finish. From what I have seen there is what appears to be polished finish which the white tdF illustrates and of course the black finish in the second picture. Red tdF also appears to be titanium. That would be tips only...not the muffler box itself. That seems to be the right price. Titanium tips on the 458...3 of them are at least $1600.00
Sorry for resurrecting this thread but can anyone confirm that the titanium tailpipe option is exposed titanium or if like the Speciale is it coated with black ceramic? I ordered Titanium with my Speciale and it came black ceramic, trying to avoid doing the same with my tdf. From what I understand there are two options for the tdf. Sport exhaust pipes (EXA3) Titanium sport exhaust pipes (EXAT) I believe Sport (EXA3) is black standard tailpipes and Titanium Sport (EXAT) is black ceramic coated titanium tail pipes. Please let me know if any who has take delivery can confirm this. Thanks!
