...and especially as it was still B.C (= Before Coronavirus; Before Confinement); cafés and restaurants have started again, but it is not, by far, the occupation it used to be; and the tourists are not there, of course. Many places empty, a difficult year for them. Rgds
The food in London is now considerably better The little Mayfair restaurant is still there Did you sit in the alcove downstairs ?
I was talking about one on Curzon street near Bolton street I think in the 80's very simple but impeccable food and service a lot of locals treated it as their remote dining room Trader Vic's at the Hilton used to have a fun and good menu more recently...there was a great seafood restaurant on sloane avenue. My most favorite memory was a Lebanese restaurant on Motcomb street with a swedish girl summer 89 we had the only table outside and she was just amazed by the food. You sent my mind spinning so I looked alas my other memories seem to have vanished off the map...but yes you must have some great dining experiences now Oops back on topic sorry: well done Seb but that will not stick will it?
I never thought binotto was good choice. I think Ferrari should bring Maurizio Arrivabene back Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think more staff would leave Ferrari if that happened. For a start, I can't see Bonotto stepping down and going back to his previous technical position.
Binotto is an amazing talent. He is simply spread too thin. Also his influence needs to be weighted toward engineering. They can bring in a second to report to Binotto that will help on the management side.
Bye Binotto!! Motor.es published.. Binotto will work on the administration area, leaving the technical to Enrico Cardinale. Rory Byrne very close to back at SF https://www.motor.es/formula-1/cambios-ferrari-f1-binotto-deja-direccion-tecnica-reestructuracion-202069356.html https://carburando.com/notas/cambios-en-ferrari-sigue-binotto-con-rory-byrne-mas-cerca
Actually in the hybrid era Horner has been doing equal or worse than Ferrari, so is he really the management genius some pretend us to believe? On the other hand, if they admitted a Vettel for Newey swap, I would consider it.
Firing Binotto would be a bad idea. It doesn’t sound that he’s being fired so I don’t understand the “Bye” comment. Yes. See my post above. Horner isn’t the brains of RB. It’s Newey and the Dr.
Horner does a ggreat job managing the team in my opinion. Of course, he doesn't design anything, but the difference between Ferrari and Red bull during a not so great time is incredible. Red Bull still relatively upbeat. Horner having to manage Mateschitz, Marko, and drivers, is no easy task. We haven't seen Toto under any pressure yet so we can't comment how he would handle the pressure.
Horner was just pure luck, IMO. When results when south with Renault, he was a huge cry baby in the press.
I have the impression that Marko is closer to Mateschitz than Horner. Marko may not have an executive role in the F1 team, but he is the eyes and ears of Dieter Mateschitz. He advises Mateschitz on overall policies for Red Bull's involvement in motor racing (RB, AT, F2, F3, etc ...). That's what I gathered over the years
He is out of the technical part, seems to me he is gonna be a pass paperboy, one step before they quick you out. He supposed is a great engineer but he does not delivery so... they move him to an administrative position. Bye
I’ve always seen it as William states below. That’s what I’m saying. He seemed to do brilliantly in technical prior to becoming team manager.
That's correct. With Todt leaving soon, Horner has a window of opportunity, but I don't know if he has a real chance and who are the other candidates.
Binotto was responsible for Ferrari's engines during the Schumacher era. He was promoted as team principal, a CEO-like position that is not the best for an engineer.
