Looks nice! I'd change the rims though. $3,500 is a bit much, you can get it for less. $2,500 would be a great deal! They're fun cars!

Milano's are great cars, but stay away from the automatics. If you are serious about a milano look for a 3.0L verde. Check gtv-6.org and alfabb.com for more info.

Take a look at a good 164. You should be able to pick one up for a buck or two.

    They make great drivers!

Gracias, thanks for all the input.

I actually saw a 164 today in downtown Ft. Worth. Not a bad looking car.

Anyone who owns a Milano had better be an enthusiast. Fun cars, and they should make nce daily drivers if you watch the extensive maintenance schedule.

Alfa Romeo Milano Gold sounds like a liquor or a cigar brand.

I second the recondation of the 164 but In partial to them :) if you want some more info on the 164 try here http://www.digest.net/alfa/FAQ/164/bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi

Another good site to check is alfaclassifieds.com you will find a lot of Alfa's for sale there.

You know what they say: Always Looking For Another

In Europe it was called Alfa 75.

It was one of the last Alfa Romeos with rear drive.

The 164 has front drive but they found a reasonable set-up so it still has a sporty feeling. A colleague of mine has a 14-year-old Alfa 164 and it still runs fine without any rust problems.

Alfa Romeos are great cars in terms of styling and fun to drive. I still have my Alfa Spider 3.0 V6. The sound of the engine is better than that of my Ferrari. I bought it 8 years ago and it is still rust free. Engines (both 4- and 6-cylinder) are known to be very reliable. But the overall finish is nearly as poor as with Ferraris.

i just bought an 89 milano gold 2.5 v6 but its a manual. just make sure that timing belt and water pump are good as well as engine oil, tranny oil and any other fluids. the milanos engine is rather bulletproof is treated well

main advantages of the milano over the 164 is:

    Rear Wheel Drive..
    Less complex in every sense
    less electronics
    more accesibile engine bay
more fun to drive, better sound

    cons:

    not as roomy
not as modern, good looking or comfy
