Can anyone identify these Mondial wheels...? I first thought 456, but I was wrong; then I checked 550s - and they're close - but not close enough... Does anyone know...?

I'm 99% sure those are aftermarket... My knowledge of Ferrari aftermarket wheel brands is somewhat limited, but my first thought was that it reminded me of a wheel made by Ronal. I don't think it's it, but it's close.

The tires, on the other hand.....the words "monster" and "truck" come to mind. Yikes.

Yes they do. Mondials respond very well to bigger/aftermarket wheels.

Although the car pictured (IMHO) would look even better if the wheels were 1"-2" larger diameter and the tires were a lower profile. Still looks nice though.

Can't find a pic at the moment but I've changed the old TRX set up on my QV to a set from a Mondial T. Amazing difference in handling and at last I get to choose what rubber to put on. Not sure I agree with aftermarket set ups but thats a personal opinion of course!

Whether using OEM or aftermarket wheels, the one best thing to do for a Mondial is newer technology tires. The original TRX or Gatorbacks do not serve the car well.

Dont know what costs are in US but the replacement TRX's here (which I'm told have a softer compound than the originals) are approaching £300 each! Thats a lot of money for old technology, no matter how its dressed up.

Last time I got a quote on the proper sized TRX tires for the Mondial, they were available only from Coker at about $400 each. I bought new wheels instead.

Sera blue from what I understand...

No, I'm not getting tires - or wheels or a Mondial for that matter - but I saw this car at Infineon over the weekend and was curious about the wheels... :)

Ya sure? The Rosso Rubino one on this thread looks awful good for 13K. Sure, it's no Breadvan, but at least it would be yours

Carbie I've said it to you before but here goes again.....

No twinkies, cigarettes, beer, model cars etc for a year and your first real Ferrari is bought and paid for, yes it's not a tripple black Enzo however it is a usable Ferrari you can drive most of the time and learn about what its actually like to run one of these things every day

Andrew, I've said to you and other people before as well... Even if I pinched every penny, I still want to buy a Ferrari like that... What'll I do when I need a service...? What about insurance...? Hell, how would I pay for gas...? I'm working on it in my own way... I already live above my means on a smaller scale than most; I don't want to blow that way out of proportion...

Tillman, tell Jordan about that car...
