Just make sure you do the posted speed limit as you drop down the hill into town. I think they were using laser last week when I drove through so the V1 wont help much...
I finally found some good wings, too bad they are in St. George. We stopped in at WingStop on the way down and back up when we went to Vegas. I'm seriously considering opening a franchise up north.
We go to St George all the time for my wife's family. I'll check em' out next time. Also when you're there, go to the Bear Paw. They close at 3pm, though.
Bumpity bump. DP Cheese steaks is pretty good. They have a few locations in the state. Hagermans bake house in downtown and draper has some great sandwiches. Buffalo Wild Wings is building a location in Lehi next to the Costco/Lowes.
The best pizza I have ever had comes from Eden Utah. If you are ever looking for a nice drive to Ogden Valley, check it out. Its called Alpine Pizza. I will drive up there on occasion to get a pie. Ive never been disappointed. http://alpinepizza.com/
We went twice on our last trip south a couple weeks ago. Chopstix in Ogden is my new fav Chinese restaurant. We go weekly now Also, Brick Oven Pizza in Layton is really good. I'll have to try Alpine, but so far, my favorite pizza is from Brewski's.
Pizzeria 712 in Orem on State Street has the best Neapolitan style pizza I have tried in Utah. They are very serious about their food.
Their white pizza is awesome. It isn't on the menu but they'll make it if you ask. Another incredible pizza place is Malawi's in the riverwoods mall. The Malawi Capri is my favorite and for every meal they donate one meal to orphans in Malawi.
Best entrees I have had in the valley Bambara in the hotel Monaco Spencer's for steaks and chops I can't remember if its in the Hilton or Marriott BBQ, pats for sure! Wings try wing coop, the boneless ones are the best and oddly enough famous Dave's Buffalo style wings are good, (midvale location) Tin roof grill cheap and good blue plate cafe for the best Ruben, and great breakfast Ruth's diner up emigration canyon very good (great drive) Pizza, the pie! Extreme veggie pizza
Park City area. My favorites are Wahso, Blind Dog and up near my place Goldener Hirsch when open. I don't know a lot about SLC dining as I'm typically up here, typical dinner before going to airport is PF Changs(always good) and I really like Tony Caputo's for picking up food and for a lunch item. Lot of restaurants in this area, how are they?
Adolf's in PC. Been a long time since I was there though. Settebello for authentic itailian pizza in SLC right next to Red Rocks (Just ask my Maserati field service rep). Copper Onion in downtown SLC is amazing. Steak Marsala at Carrabba's in Orem is my favorite steak anywhere. Banbury Cross on 7th east in SLC has the best doughnuts on the planet.
