Cars & Coffee at Lugano (Ticino), Switzerland. Sunday 10 July 2016. Supported by official Ferrari dealer Loris Kessel SA of Lugano-Grancia this will certainly be a huge event with tons of Ferraris, also coming from Northern Italy and the greater Milan area. Marcel Massini
Greetings from Gland (Vaud), I will also soon be an owner of a Ferrari (the Ferrari dealer in Matran, "Symbol Automobile") is preparing a Manual 360 for me and perhaps I will pick it up in a few weeks when I'm back from my holidays Hopefully I will meet some of you other Swiss residents in the future? p.s. does anyone here frequent the asphalte.ch website? I've met several Ferrari owners from there, including one guy with a license plate with the number 360 430 (or the other way around?) on it
10 am in the morning at Campione d'Italia (Casino), and after lunch time at 3 pm in Lugano (LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura Center). At 7 pm is the end of the event. They drive over from Campione to Lugano around 2.30 pm. Marcel Massini

Wrong. That's for the Casino, the food and the entertainment. All fully described in detail in the pdf brochure. Marcel Massini
Hey guys, I'm currently trying to retrieve the history of a golden Mondial Quattrovalvole that has been delivered in Switserland in 1982 by 'Ferrari Suisse'. Apparently, that dealer does no longer exist. Does anyone know who replaced them and if old files are still available somewhere?
"Ferrari Suisse" is/was not a dealer. This was the Swiss Ferrari importer based in Nyon on Lake Geneva. The dealer then was Autodiffusion SA in Meyrin (Geneva), Switzerland. Both history, long gone. What is the chassis number of your car? Marcel Massini
Nice trip Stefano! Maybe I will play Golf in Domat-Ems on Sunday, depending on the whether. With a little luck I'll be able to hear you in your Ferrari. Have fun!
No trace of #42625 can be found in Switzerland. Please post a photo showing the warranty booklet with the Swiss delivery information. Marcel Massini
You'll hear us Daniel (some Scuds , Challenge Stradale) and some less noisy whistling turbos like Cali T.... If you want to join us, even for a short trip, let me know Stefano
That number doesn't appear in any register because it was a special edition and almost nothing is known of it. It was born in color 'Oro Chiaro' (only 4 were made) and was repainted in red in the 90's. I'm restoring it for the moment, but I don't have the warranty booklet.
So if you don't have the warranty booklet how do you know for sure that it was delivered new in Switzerland? Why not sharing the documents you actually do have in your posession so that we can try to research a bit deeper? Marcel Massini
Hey, I called FMA in ANtwerp (Ferr dealer) and they were able to tell me this. I'll PM you my email address so I can share the details.
My Mondial is new delivered from Autodiffusion SA, I do have maintenance records from the 90's but I always wondered if there is some Swiss history known. It looks like my car was sold to Autodiffusion so it could be a company car but I am not sure of that. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Autodiffusion SA was a Ferrari DEALER at the time so this car was originally used as a demonstrator, that's why the warranty booklet is issued in the name of the dealership. SAVAF was a separate company and that was the actual Ferrari IMPORTER for Switzerland, SAVAF = Société Anonyme pour la Vente des Automobiles Ferrari. Both SAVAF and Autodiffusion SA were in the same building in Meyrin (near Geneva Airport). If you have a copy of the old Swiss grey title (Fahrzeugausweis), then you have the chance to inquire with the Bundesamt für Strassen ASTRA in Bern, capital of Switzerland, the central office for all vehicles in Switzerland. There is a special form for this which an owner can download, fill in, add copy of the old Swiss Grey title, pay a fee, and then see if they have any old/former ownership history in their archive. It is also sometimes called a "MOFIS Auskunft". Only the actual owner can do this, no agent on behalf of somebody else. You have to sign the form and confirm that you are the actual/current owner. No email communication with these authorities. You will need to indicate the former Swiss license plate, like Berne "BE 123456..." or similar (from the old Swiss Grey title or Fahrzeugausweis). Microfiche copies from their archive are approx. Swiss Francs CHF 100. Here is the form. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you very much for the information. Unfortunately i do not have a copy of the Grey title but i know the license plate was VS 236314. I will try to contact a former owner.
Huge turnout today at Cars & Coffee in Oftringen with no fewer than 38 Ferraris, besides all the Lambos, Masers, Alfas, Lotus, Porsches, etc. Next Cars & Coffee next Sunday 10th July 2016 at Campione d'Italia (10 am) and then from 1 pm on at Lugano. Marcel Massini
