Hi Mike Yes, it is the same car appearing in both sites. You are also correct in that the car is a replica built on a carburetor 308. I think that it has been in Hawaii for a little over a year. It was brought over by a true car nut that has/had a variety of great cars.
They could at least take all of that "Ferrari" badging off of that Z....maybe go for a "stealth" look. LOL @ the "250 GTO" on the butt.
I didnt know it was an imposter I would not have posted it and now I am unable to delete the post. I was happy with the quality of the second pic though!
Funny story as I scrambled for the camera in my bag because an offramp was coming up. I got the two pics shown then, I really wanted to "hear" what it sounded like but I had loose papers all over the front seat of my car so I was grabbing them and trying to stash them before opening the windows at freeway speed! Needless to say there was almost no sound audible from the car over and above the rushing wind, I was thinking wow, he really is baby-ing it!
Heh - That GTO was only runnin' on half of the V12.......... Those Z's 6s can sound downright wicked, too, if they're done well. I've had one, and I miss it.
Where does Aston martin go for servicing? I really want one but I don't know if anyone on the island is able to service. For sure no warranty work in Hawaii.
Blue scuderia with tan leather race seats and red 599 in the hokua garage. I believe the cars belong to the same owner. Also had a grey gallardo sl with black wheels there the other night in place of the scud. Nice cars! Anyone here?
This must be the owner ... http://www.staradvertiser.com/business/20101111_Tesla_plugs_in_electric_vehicle_group.html

followed a silver CS on H1 east for a while from pearl harbor i'm just out here for work for a while.
Happy to report I spotted a real Ferrari in Hawaii. Grigio Alloy Ferrari California on Oahu, on University Ave. Also a grey Maserati Granturismo a couple of minutes behind it.
About a month ago on Nimitz near airport heading toward town. Tried to catch it but wasn't able to make the light. I know of JN's Silver one but had not seen this one before.
I don't know enough about the 250 GTO to tell if that is an obvious replica. Is there a real one on the island?
