I was going to say put some LED bulbs in the door light but she is all sealed up now. Not a big deal but those bulbs get hot if the door is left open for a while. You could still hold the door light button down somehow.

Well done Skipp, I bet you will notice a big improvement with the correct jets!

On my 246 I put the vapour barrier on the actual door card, that's the bit that needs protection + if I ever need to get into the doors I don't need to break through it.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I’m also working on a leaking water pump.

Ordered a new one from Superformance, but they apparently don’t know the correct pump despite having a picture of the correct pump on their website !
Really wish they would get with the program as international orders and shipping are expensive. I’ve requested a refund and hope they will be prompt with this. Their incompetence is wasting my time and my mechanics.

Reordered hopefully a correct pump from Dino Parts.

Not sure how people get through life this way, but I guess if NOBODY cares your job stays safe.

Why not buy a superior reproduction pump in the USA? We went to great lengths to make these repros identical to the OEM spare I bought from Maranello concessionaires in 1994. Jacques outdid himself and used a Mercedes bearing and seal for the pump shaft, resulting in no returns for the first two production runs

Looks nice but can I suggest the air bleed hole is drilled into the upper chamber and a better impeller is fitted. IMO the dino parts pump has the uprated impeller and could be considerably better than the old design.

Looks great, you'll be fine as Dinos are not known for their water pump problems

Sometimes you have to call them to get a response, but I have never had a problem with returns.

I don’t even know how to call England. Seems they could respond to emails since their whole business is done online. It’s not even worth the aggravation.......

I have never had problems or discussions with re-funds from SF. Sometimes they pick wrong items or numbers of items, but don't they all? One of the best companies out there when it comes to service based on my wast experience in Ferrari parts shopping (Maranello parts UK and now DP are in same category) . You can argue the quality of some of their aftermarket products, but that's the same issue with many of the other vendors. SF normally respond on email and always on phone is my experience.

Finally got the email from Ita. She’s working things out. As I said earlier, I’ve purchased many items from them and it’s always been a pleasure. The response time for refunds via email is my only complaint. Back to better subjects.
