for the bushings you need a hydraulic press and the right adapters. without the adapters it will get a terrible job, but easy to make those adapters when you have a lathe

Thanks TJ, do you think a 12 tonne hydraulic press would be enough to do the job ?

Ive been meaning to do all the bushings on my Stradale for a couple of years so the press could come in very useful

12 to normaly is ok to press in the new bushings you need not more than 2 to, but may be for pressing out the old ones you may get problems. once I needed 34 to ( not at a F )
but before you will damage your press you may press out only the inside bushing with the rubber and the outside bushing you may take then a drill and a small cutter

The bushes were a royal pain to remove, I tried all manor of ways including a hydraulic press. Due to the angles of the arms and the lack of a lip to place a cup over it proved impossible. The final way was old school using a vice and hammer with a smaller socket on the bushing to drive it out, after a short soak in some penetrating fluid they actually came out relatively easy this method. 3 more corners to do on the car so this was the discovery side

Ive Been slacking on the 'Ratarossa' project this winter.

But the car is now back on the road, not in its greatest form but still better than breaking the car for spares.

Will post some videos of updates

Search 'ratarossa' on YouTube as Ive set up its dedicated channel

The problem I have with the exhaust system is the US spec has different fittings to Euro so its not a simple case of bolting it on without changing further pipes or modifying the existing ones. But I will at some point do just that.

Not checked diff yet, need to research it and put it on the 'to do' list
