Amazing!! That red 360 CS you saw is always in Chomedey. (I'm sure the owner lives there) I see that car very often... Now a yellow 550 Barchetta??!!! You don't see those everyday!!
.....and I know the owners of both!!!!! In fact, the 550 belongs to a relative (by marriage) of mine. Hey John, no stroll on Sorel street today?? LOL!!
With all these spottings, I hope to see a few f-cars in Montreal! I leave Saturday and will be in town for a week and a day. Last year I saw a 360 Spider with Florida plates.
Bernie, It was my pleasure. I forgot to mention in yesterday's quote that the giallo 360 and the red stradale were both parked at cafe bellagio late last night. My daughters tell me that the yellow 360 (dealer plates) is always parked there. Looks like new ownership at that cafe......haven't driven by there in quite a while. Would anyone know?? John/Bernie.
If it's in Laval, I wouldn't know. It's not...errr...my territory. However, I believe that the red CS belongs to a customer of mine. I don't want to mention names, but he got the first CS that FoQ imported.
Hmmm... There is an Italian restaurant called Bellagio too downtown, at Rene Levec & Elmer across from a Hertz location.
Tony, At the Canadian GP week-end (sunday after the race) , I saw a giallo 360 and a red 360 CS at Adonicia on boul Daniel-Johnson. They were parked one beside eachother. (in Laval) I guess we are talking about the same cars.
Could be, there are only 5 stradale's in Quebec from what I've been told Mr. Lebeau from FoQ and the grigio 360CS has already been traded in for a 575M. Beautiful car, too bad it does not have the stripe.
5 Stradale's in Quebec...hmm lets see.. I'v seen the silver one you said with no stripe. I'v seen the red 360 CS without the stripe in Chomedey somewhere. Last one I saw was a red 360 CS with the stripe... Two more missing? Have you seen the silver 360 CS with the stripe at FoQ? It belongs to someone in Nova Scotia.
Oh I forgot, you got that good ol' greenback on ya'....well then, spend away!!! ''Molti quattrini'' is Italian for ''much money''
I would guess anything between 30$ and 50$ of our humble Canadian dollars. However, it's not the only place in Montreal where you can get official Ferrari merchandise. Grand-Prix Miniatures (in Little Italy) carries the line of goodies.
That's expensive in any currency. Do you have an address to Grand-Prix Miniatures? Do you know how far they would be from the IBM building/Rene Levec & Elmer?
Are you by car or by public transit? The easiest way by car would be to go eastbound on René-Lévesque and turn left on St-Laurent. From there on, it's about a 20 min. drive, depending on traffic. Their address is 6807 St. Laurent. If you're served by Ray (stout fellow with a goatee), tell him Bernie from the Italian bank sent you. If you're by public transit, take the Metro, get off at Jean-Talon station and follow the signs to Little Italy. It's roughly a 10 min. walk from the station.
Just got back from having drinks in Little Italy: - 348TS (red/tan) parked at Di Baffoni's; - 360 Spyder (yellow/black) with Florida plates in front of Quelli della Notte. Also, plenty of Porches, Bimmers, Benzes....and one (God-awful) Hummer.
Hey, I just walked home from our little Italy here in Toronto and didnt see a single F-car. But there was a hell of alotta women!!!! Wooohooooo Maybe there was f-cars but I was distracted. I'm sure there were some friggin 360's kicking around. Cheers from Toronto! Vasco.R
