Hello Candide, good afternoon! How are you?

I'm not sure but I will ask around using the chassis number. Don't know if that particular car was based in Portugal at any given time of its history, but I'll try to find out.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Merci beaucoup Candide! Bonne année a toi e ta famille!

Unfortunately I still have no news regarding that Maserati you mentioned and inquired about a couple of weeks ago, but I'll keep trying.

    Nigel,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share those numbers with us. You're a legend! It's not always easy to have a clear picture of sales figures here in Portugal, and I for one am always very interested in that data.

For a country of roughly 10 million people, I'd say the presence of italian cars is strong. It could certainly be better, as the FIAT group some 25 years ago was the undisputed sales' champion over here, but still I take great satisfaction in learning that those numbers are picking up after the financial crisis/bailout program.

20 new Ferraris sold in one fiscal year in Portugal (country of 10 million souls) is actually similar to the number of Ferraris sold new in Brazil (country of nearly 210 million people), according to your data that I thank once again (18 until November 2017). I know it's not a great comparison to draw, the two countries being so very different from one another, but goes to say that sales per capita in Portugal aren't as low as I imagined.

Sad news about Lancia though. A brand with such a relevant, rich and distinct heritage is dead, for all intents and purposes.

    Kindest regards,

    Nuno.

I thank you kindly once again Nigel, for sharing the data and taking the time!

The California is practically the best seller in our neck of the woods, and I suspect that is so not just in Portugal but pretty much in most European markets. I'm not surprised, particularly the T is a great all rounder. Though I'm clueless regarding UK sales, I bet there are more Ferraris sold in the UK in a month than in Portugal during the whole fiscal year!

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Grande Tiago!

    https://www.jn.pt/justica/videos/interior/dono-de-ferrari-burlado-acabei-por-ceder-e-deixei-o-levar-o-carro-10751513.html

Hi Andrew, how are you? Sorry for such a late reply. Although most members have quit the subsection, sooner or later someone always ends up replying.

Are you already in Cascais? How long are you planning to stay? There may be indeed some interesting car events you can attend, depending on the dates and/or if you're able to travel within Portugal.

Anyway, should you need any assistance, please feel free to reply or send me a PM, as I'll be more than happy to help.

    Kindest regards,

    Nuno.
