Wow
They seemed to be getting more cheers than Pats. At least at the outset. Probably Pats haters more than Rams fans...T
I agree with you on that. I suppose the best were the Bud Light commercial where the kingdom took the misdirected Corn Syrup where it belonged, and the Amazon commercial with Harrison Ford and the runaway Alexa ordering dog food. But even they can't compare to the really great commercials of the past. My all-time favorite is still the Pepsi "Your Cheatin' Heart" commercial of years ago.
+1 those were the only 2 that I liked. The Andy Warhol Burger King clip from an old film was very odd...
Yah , one more first down , then they run the clock out . Was hoping he went for the 4th and inches . Oh well .
I thought they would go for the first down. Tom is the master at the QB sneak, but I guess the smart play was just take the 3.
BTW Kerim, how did you ever bet that play? Every prediction I heard for the game ended in a total of at least 43 points.
I disagree with everyone who says that it was a "terrible" or "boring" game because of the lack of scoring. It was a close, competitive game that either team could have won. If it's 13-3 or 45-35, what difference does it make? Now if either team had led 35-0 in the first half and cruised to victory, that would have been a "terrible" game! I guess that's why soccer is not a popular spectator sport in this country.
It was almost a no-brainer, I mean, for the Pats, could you see anyone outside of Brady or Edelman winning it? I didn't see a NE RB running enough to win it, I didn't see Gronk getting the ball enough to win it. On the other side of the ball I didn't see anyone aside from a Rams RB winning it, nobody would have gotten the ball enough, and Goff doesn't have the 'experience' enough in BIG games to throw enough to win it. But, you DID pick Edelman, congrats sir... We will never know, will we? Few expected NE to beat KC, so you just never know... Did anyone else notice that wasn't a Whopper? If it was, it was 'ordered' with nothing on it, no cheese, no onion, no lettuce, no tomato, and the burger patty was really small....
Actually it has zero to do with the score, it was just a boring game. There were no exciting plays. None. The defenses just defended, but no great plays to make the game exciting. The halftime show sums up the game. Lackluster.
I thought it was a great game. Now, was it a great enough game to want me to watch it again on replay? no, but it was a great game.
As l predicted NE would win and would outthink the Rams. And they did. The Rams made no changes in their offense throught the game. NE offensive coordinator realized the game plan wasn’t working and put in plays they hadn’t run or practiced for several weeks. They had to huddle up to go over each play forgoing the hurry-up offense. This resulted in the only LIII touchdown and produced a game clinching fg. Rams d shut down everybody on offense...except Edelman. He was mvp. McVay admitted he was outcoached. Understatement of the year.
