Are you going to run down to Caesar's and place them for us! I know who I'm picking, but I have to think about the score.
I am rooting for the Rams, I really like Goff and Gurly I am thinking that it will be the same outcome as the AFCCG - close, but the Rams come up just a play or two short.
I really wish the Pats could play in a Superbowl that didn't come down to the ulcer inducing last couple plays, but I don't see that happening this year either. So, I will pick them to win by their largest Superbowl margin of victory - 6 points.
Lol. You make a valid point. All of their SBs have been close. Except for the 1st Eagles-Pats meeting. The score was 24-21 but realistically 24-14 cause Pats gave up late TD and the Eagles had no chance of coming back
I have not a clue. It should be a great game. It’s tough to imagine Tom and Bill losing 2 in a row but to address the question I’ll go with Rams by 6 Living in LA I’ll root for the Rams even though I was there when they beat my Cowboys.
Playing the best and being the best is two different things. And NE is pretty good at neutralizing a good pass rush, so we will see how they do this time. They seem to wake up in the playoffs. This game will depend on how LA defends the NE threat of RB's coming out of the backfield as receivers, both with White and Burkhead.
Nobody prepares like the Patriots. Two weeks of preparation for this team just cements how intense Bill is on knowing your job and owning it. I expected the Chiefs D to hurt Brady bad, and they've yet to allow him to be sacked...That says a ton about the O line, though the Rams have different monsters. I think in a blaze of glory, TB does it again, and the Pats take this game 33-28
I recall a stat during the game to the effect that Brady had been hurried only twice up to that point in the game. T
Not sure I agree with this as of now, Goff has played some REALLY BAD games the last half of the season. He may 'get there' with your thoughts, but a lot of QB's that are a lot better then Goff never quite 'got there' as far as greatness, or the ability to pick any team apart goes. It's something you don't just 'do', even Brady has played some really bad games this season.
I think the key player will be Julian Edelman. N.E. has had a tradition of having a possession-type receiver in the mode of a Fred Biletnikoff or a Howard Twilley - a guy who's not too big, not too fast, but runs great patterns, has great hands, and somehow usually finds a way to get open and be there when his Q.B. needs him. Wes Welker, Danny Amendola and Edelman have all filled that role at one time. It wouldn't surprise me to see him catch 10 passes in the game, not for big yardage, but for a lot of first downs. Also note that he played Q.B. in college (on one occasion with Sean McVay playing for the other team), so don't be surprised if he throws the ball at least once in the game.
Sounds from our local Atlanta press that nearly all the visiting fans in town are Patriots fans; I wonder if it will be like that inside the stadium tomorrow. With good weather and a predicted high around 60 (dropping to around 52 by game's end), it has not been established yet whether the roof at M.B. will be open or closed. The Thunderbirds are supposed to do a flyby, but if the roof is closed the fans inside will still be able to see them on the stadium's "halo" screens.
