Things I overlooked... I shldve made this the welcome run for both Bruce and Pchops cars - congrats Pchop! Titanium is a beauty. Vik - sincere thanks for pulling everyone in from NYC! Made my job just a little easier. ******************************************************* That said, Id really like to make this an annual event. Next time I wld seek to be more punctual to our start time, and have less pitstops. Given the complexity of Rte 650, I think Id make it a fair weather only run as well. Id rather reschedule the trip, be branded an "RP", than lose a friend along the way. Also, I brought the Dunkin Dounts this time, taking the cue frm Eric's past generosity, but I didnt pay attn to whether anyone indulged. Was it enjoyed, was alot wasted? I wld welcome and appreciate any feedback from Sunday's participants regarding a future run along this route.
Chris, It was great to meet you yesterday! This is a great group of people. You're always welcome on any run we have!
Pleasure. It was a fun run down to the rendezvous point. Location and number of pitstops were fine, but Amen on starting on time. FweRrF! It was exactly the right amount - many thanks for your generosity.
SORRY STILL NEW TO THIS, HERE IS THE "FLAMES" THAT EVERYONE WAS HOPING TO SEE YESTERDAY FROM THE P CAR WE BROUGHT. THE PIC ARE FROM THE RIDE HOME DOWN ROUTE 80. HERE IS THE LINK.
Great fun and nice to see everyone again! Many thanks to Greg for organizing the run. Greg can really drive that Suprarri Bruce's and PChop's 550 are fantastic! Thanks for waiting for me on that one turn Clyde....almost got lost. Hope you'll be back in the saddle real soon Jeff. And special thanks to Bill. You're a real sport. Safe driving fellas.
Greg, It was a great run -- thanks for organizing. I don't get out to a lot of events so it was great to meet everyone. Peter
Wont be able to make it that soon . I hope i can be in town again in April 05 but not sure. You still havent sent me the soundfile of your 355 !!
Actually Andrew, given the kind of driving we were doing on Sunday, I think he chose the right car to bring. That, or the Stradale. Gotta tell you, it was total eye candy to see your Pops carving up that stretch of Rte 650 in the 6.0 - the ass end is just so mesmerizing. With the rear valence the way it is, Ive never seen wider tires on a roadcar. Definitely give me or Kenny a headsup when youre coming to NY, and we'll put something together.
ok, finally got to spend some time playing around, here are alll the pics we took from last sunday. enjoy & happy thanksgiving to all. http://community.webshots.com/album/222333313MNAeNj
