I have a 2007 Honda Accord V6. To be honest, I went into it kicking and screaming, because my wife likes them. Anyway, I was expecting a really dull Toyota Camry type thing. I was VERY surprised by how spory the suspension was for this type of car and the steering is perfectly weighted. I know among car guys its not cool to say, but I absolutely love the car. It is fast (for what it is), it corners as well as my BMW's did, and it is stone cold reliable. In the 3 years we have had it, it has never given us a single problem...and it has led a hard life of daily commutes 80 miles roundtrip city/highway, and generally being treated like a stepchild (with the exception of being maintained by the book) The car is fantastic. Only let down are the undersized brakes, which begin to fade after 5 minutes of very "spirited" driving. I don't know if I will be a Honda owner for life. But this car has earned a spot in the fleet until its time for the junker.
A good example of why driving a street car like a moron on the street is just plain stupid. Street cars and their brakes are absolutely perfect for street usage. If you want to race, prepare your car for racing and then take it to the TRACK! Scott

Scott, Wow, thanks for the life lesson. Did you read my post? Because your response is not only disproportionate, it didn't make any sense. I would suggest that next time, before calling someone a moron, you take the time to understand and appreciate the difference between "spirited driving" and racing. Equating a spirited drive down a mountain lane to street racing is just silly. As for your other point, Street cars brakes are not all made alike and, no, they are not all absolutely perfect for spirited street driving. All brakes stop, but some take A LOT longer than others, and can't stop repeatedly. If you don't know that, you apparently haven't driven enough cars. Honda Accord brakes lock up too fast (especially in the wet), and over heat too fast. For whatever reason, Honda put an aggressive suspension and powerful V6 in a family sedan, but failed to upgrade the brakes from the base 4 cylinder model. It is a common problem, complained of in just about every car mag that has ever reviewed the car. In fact, a TSX--which is a European Honda Accord, has larger and more effective brakes (and it has 2 less cylinders).
Yes. Absolutely yes. S2000's are an EPIC amount of fun. Put 350 HP (4K Supercharger) and a few other mods and you've got a car that'll keep you happy for a LONG time.
We have 4 Hondas; Odyssey, S2000 and 2 NSX's. For starting out as Porsche people, I guess you could say that we're becoming big fans ;^D Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh yes, check out the trunk! Do a web search on LoveFab NSX and you'll see it's the creation of Cody Loveland. We have since removed nearly all the stickers, trying to run in stealth mode ;-P Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login
The most the car has made in this configuration was 920rwhp (see old dyno chart), but has been detuned to a more transmission-friendly nearly 600rwhp. That's still around 5lbs/rwhp, so plenty quick by most measures ;^D Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's a GT45R (specs to follow): -GT45R turbocharger with TiAL stainless steel full Vband housing. -LoveFab Secondaries -LoveFab Intercooler with Triple heat exchangers -Comptech Headers with V-band exhaust flanges -TiAL 60mm wastegate, in wastegate-priority fashion -TiAL 50mm Blow off valves for adequate pressure relief during shifts. -AEM EMS 30-1002 EMS with boost control -RC 1000cc injectors -Dual Walbro 255LPH in-tank pumps, stainless lines. -Aeromotive FPR Brian
You guys just used one set of injectors? Hmm normally for such high output single turbos I see 750cc primaries and 550cc secondary injectors. Basically the 750 is for all times, the 550 starts to help after a certain rev set. Well there are multiple solutions to a problem. Quick question though. Is the AEM EMS a good startup for someone that hasn't tuned a car before? I know the Motec stuff isn't. I heard good things about Autronic. But the AEM with the built in wideband unit, seems like a good package. And their customer service seems better. I really don't want to waste time and money on ROM tunes. Let me know. Thanks Regards, Krish
Krish, I believe that you are correct about the AEM EMS being the preferred package, at least at LoveFab. We drive the car, but Cody created it and as the guru of all things boost maybe direct your inquiries to him (he has a website). Cheers, Brian
