You must have missed the “cunnilingus” reference in his signature below his comment?

Need to be vigilant. Mine is in the shop getting brake pads replaced and I got a call that the lowered track alignment caused the tires to rub through the top of the fender liners. (It was not done at the Ferrari dealership)

This is a known issue with the track alignment as I was told before they put the springs in- in essence the fender liners are just one more expense added to the list of track consumables.

The good thing is that the electronic controls are in the rear of the wheel wells. (My bad luck-some wires got exposed and need to be rewrapped and moved ouy of the way.

I also melted the brake dust boots and need to have the rotors removed and the brake pad residue cleaned from the rotor holes. I told them not to worry about the fender liners as I need to pick up my car on Friday to go to COTA.

Drive it like you stole it...

    C'est la vie.....

No, pre lowering. I wanted to get back on topic.

Since Anir brought out an old pic from the dealer, I added one of mine from when I picked it up.

    Lowered:

How did you melt the brake dust boots?? I mean, I guess it's thru overheating, but why would these boots not be rated for whatever the brake pad temperature might reach?

Short answer it’s not a track car like the GT3 RS. I have less than 100 street miles in my car.

COTA is particularly tough on cars- 170+ mph back straight 150+ front straight. 200 miles/day at speed takes its toll. Brake pads only lasted 4 track days - 1000 miles.

I was told you’d never have to change pads if you didn’t track the car and you’d need new pads every couple of tire changes. Which is about right- 2 weekends for tires and 4 for pads.

It’s beautiful! If I still get to spec one, that’s most likely the color I’d go for.
