    The first 500km in my 812 GTS is done. So if you have questions let me know

    First question: sound sound sound??

    The sound of the 812 superfast is better then the 812 GTS. But Ferrari did a “good” job with the filter. You still hear a pretty good V12 sound, and if you wanna hear it better you can always open the roof. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Major congrats. How is buffeting and air flow in the cabin when the top is down and driving at high speed? The YouTube video posted above indicated there were wind deflector in the windscreen to minimize buffeting.

    I assume handling and driving dynamics identical to 812 SF?

    is the sound with the roof down or back window down as good or better than the 812 coupe? can you characterize how its different? is it like the pista compared to the speciale or more subtle? do you have any videos of the sound? :) thanks in advance :).

    This may be the first test drive of GTS
    Exec summary, roof down sounds better roof fully closed not quite as good, at idle.
    Which is what you would sort of suspect, better sound with roof down or roof closed and rear window open, personally, I think a slightly different sound on idle, on the run, genuinely no noticeable difference, aftermarket exhausts can turn it up and destroy your inner ear drums if that what you want....all that noise about GPF....

    Personally will simply unplug the vacuum tubes on mine which I have done on my GTC4 Lusso and F12, that raises the idle and low speed cruising volume without being anti-social....

    On full chat both cars will sound the same...

    Looks like Fuoco to me. Maranello is deep red no orange - this has orange, could also be Berlinetta?

    I do have a GTC4Lusso in Rosso Maranallo, which does not have that orangish tone in the sun. Therefore, I stick to Rosso Fuoco and rule out Rosso Fiorano (has also some orange in the direct sunlight) since that 812 GTS is definitely in a triple layer color which Rosso Fiorano is not.
