    IMO great looking car.

    Too bad the fact even if one has the cash to order it you wont get one :( And not in RHD.

    OH well just another Ferrari to admire in pictures just along with the LaFerrari and Monza.

    Has anyone who likes open tops tried to do more than 100 mph? It amazes me that people think that not having a roof when you are pushing hard is a good thing. Not to mention the weight, structural integrity and safety penalties...

    It's a car not a track special.

    I think the weight penalty vs added enjoyment on a car like this (carbon tubbed) is minimal.

    IIRC the Zonda had a 20KG penalty when it create their roadster and retained the same rigidity.

    Yep, me too. Thought the car was stunning when I first saw it. Unfortunately didn’t buy the first Icona which seems to be a problem for me getting one of these. Still, I think it is bold, daring, striking, an excellent way to do a P3/4/5 reference without being retro. And carbon tub, mid-engined, non-hybrid, 9,500rpm, 840cv Ferrari V12? Would I? Yes, I very much would thanks. Critics can critic, I’d simply admire and drive it! What a wonderful thing it is. The aggressive negativity is shocking really. Whoever made the point about it being handy there was no fchat when they launched the Testarossa got it bang on. We own one and its daring and outrageous lines are so beautiful now. When you sit by it, the subtlety is a hidden pleasure reserved for those who can spend time with it. The outrageousness (still today) is for the casual observer. Just like the wonderfully-named Daytona.

    100 mph are regular speeds in Europe. It is amazing to think that these are track speeds.

    Manzoni was also in charge of the LaF, BTW. And that car was modelled on a tent, so not exactly a high bar.

    Nevertheless, this car has a great wrap-around windshield, nice detail around door scoop and beautiful interior. Everything a driver sees when seated. So from that point of view, a success. Not to mention the sound of the V12.

    Sorry to disagree. Maybe in Germany 100 mph can be reached for a few secs on an early Sunday morning on an unlimited part of the Autobahn.
    But the rest of mainland Europe for sure is 70/75 mph and 100 mph (160 km/h) is certainly not regular speed in Europe.

    Depends on the area of course. In Italy it is pretty normal. In the UK only during night time. Of course speed cameras are always a concern. I wouldn't try it in Switzerland; you people are speed "Nazis". lol

    The side vent is very foreshadowing to their future LMH hypercar while referencing not just past Ferraris but the history of Lemans. The wasp waist is unnecessary and probably adds some drag though.

    Front is very reminiscent of the Dallara Stradale (which has the Group C esque intakes as well)

    I think the real weight of the Laferrari was somewhere between 1500-1700kg depending on the conditions in which it was weighed. The excessive double layer carbon clamshell probably does not help either

    I admire how they got inspiration from the past (P3-4, P5 and maybe others) but they came out with a state of the art car based on Laferrari Aperta with some modern design element taken from P80: I think that and Icona should be exactly this, and not only a nice object.

    It's good but in my opinion, it's not a masterpiece and I'm going to say why: the pilot has too much room backside. I know it has a mid-engine and it is a V12, but I prefer cars where the pilot sits almost on the rear side, that's why I prefer Ferraris with a front engine like Roma. For example, I prefer 296GTB, a mid-engine car with a more compact V6
