Calling all Nova Scotia Ferrari owners: This sunday in the Annapolis Valley there is an annual p-car run. I will be there with my 348 and word is there will be other f-cars present. PM me if you are interested so I can let the organizers know. Troy
Troy and other NS based FChatters, I just bought a '95 355 GTS. I would be interested in hearing of any events being planned. I am off for a Valley spin today on this sunny Sunday! Regards, Steve
Picture proof of new to me 355 GTS. Also, the story of its journey to its new home: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=140692836#post140692836 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Loved the pics and the journey thread. Wish more F-Cars come to this side of Canada too.... The weather hasn't been too good this year though... Wonder if you guys are getting any sort of enjoyment out of your machines. It has been pretty frustrating for me atleast till now...
Hard to say. There are lots of guys with no plates when they technically should have them It is a ashame as it ruins the look.
Hope this is not a threadjack, but l've been researching F-cars for a while now with 348, 355 and 360 all being possibilities. I'm in Halifax and wondering if there are any groups or meetups where someone could talk to current owners. I understand that a new pre-owned dealer on Kempt Rd., Griffin Motors, is working towards becoming an independent shop that can service Ferraris, which sounds promising... Any information appreciated.
I have a 355GTS and have 2 friends with FCars (355 Spider, 360 spider). I know Troy has a 348 in the Valley. There are at least 2 430's in the city but I don't think they are on FChat. It would be great to get some folks together for some drives. I see Troy does that with some folks in the Valley. (Troy, I will be in touch next trip to the Valley). I would be happy to chat about FCar ownership if you care to PM me. As for Griffin, I have heard these same rumours and hope they are true. I know some guys send their cars to Mtl for majors but it would be great to have someone here. Steve
Sounds good. I know I've seen a silver 430 Spider around HRM and I've also seen a red 430 a few times around where I work in Downtown Halifax. I think there used to be a silver 360CS around here as well. There was a nice red 348 at AMP when I did the Driving School there a few years ago as well. Kind of hoping there will be some events or meetups where a mixture of Porsche and Ferrari wouldn't offend anyone...
Having read this thread, I was pretty much sure it was you only at the track. I guess I should have come over to say Hi... I marshalled a mid-day session between corners 5 & 6. It was a treat to the eyes (and more so.. the ears!) seeing you go by everytime. Great car in a great condition!
I hope to get out for some lapping this summer as well. Do come over to say hi if you see me there. Steve
Steve, Let me know if you want to do the Cabot Trail when the weather picks up. Gets pretty boring here in CB.
Just curious - was the red 355 that was recently at Griffin Motors anyone on here? Just saw their Twitter feed, but beautiful looking car....
Hey Steve, It was great talking to you (and seeing your car ) at the track yesterday. If you do lap it I'd like a ride at some point please lol. The Maserati museum that we couldn't think of the name yesterday is the Panini collection. Here are a few of my favorite pics from my trip. The Gilles Villeneuve monument was quite hard to find...
