That factory five car is cool. Looks like someone put a 550 Maranello, a Ford GT, and a 360 Challenge in a super collider and pulled the trigger.

Dump some BIG HP in it and it would be fun.

It's a full tube chassis...the drivetrain is great and the suspension is very nice.

250 lbs lighter than the Noble also...

Well, I had just started to look for a flight to go, check out and possibly buy this car next week, but it just sold last night.

    DAMN!!!!!!!!!

    http://www.fraserdante.com/3709%20-%2066%20Shelby%20GT350H/66%20GT350H.htm

Apparently, they got 2 offers for over $95k after it sold too.

This was my backup and it sold late last week as I was arranging for a PPI.

    http://www.pim.net/92404cf.html

I was so excited about both of these that I couldn't stand up comfortably for days!!

    The search continues...

Picture of pantera at pro-auto. Owner has $130k invested in this steel flared group4 car with complete ground up restoration. Owner wants to sell.

EC308, great suggestions...exactly the type of cars I'm looking for. The Pantera has had a tremendous amount of work...no doubt about that.

Red/tan is one of my least favorite color combos, although I've had 5 red cars and 7 with tan interiors. I wonder what he'll take for it...it's been for sale for a while:

The Countach is beautiful, but I just had a black QV last year and am not ready to start repeating cars so soon.

    Thanks!

Talked to Mike at pro-auto earlier today and he said low $60's would buy the pantera at this time.

Wow, that is an amazing deal...

Is it a Windsor or Cleveland?

This is going to sound lame...but, I'll say it anyways. I don't think a Pantera is a Pantera without a Cleveland. Also, I think they sound so much better with 180s that I wouldn't want one without them.

Can't doubt the amount of work or $$$ spent on that thing. It's pretty sweet.

Definitely not a sexy machine...more like something you hang on a pegboard hook in the shed after you're done with it. But it is amazing...

Also, the Hebrew Hammer in me is asking, what will that thing be worth in 3 yrs?

haha true, i doubt what basically is a fast go-cart is going to be worth much a few years after its built.

    what about a z8?

I just don't like the styling of that car. It's not very aggressive... The motor is nice though!

    I'd do an M1 before a Z8 any day.

Hmmm... interesting discussion. For stock purposes (something I know you don't care much about :)) a Cleveland is the way to go. It has an air of legend to it, the heads breathe better and has a fairly robust bottom end. For tunability, parts etc... a Windsor may be the way to go though... It doesn't sound lame... but you are splittng hairs now... :) It's kinda like the debate that use to go on about speed density as opposed to mass air... More tunability with mass air in the long haul.
