does anyone know the difference in height between the two models? Assuming that the CS is lower, do you think it would be worth lowering the 360 Modena? what would have to be done?

I would strongly advise you to think very carefully before lowering your car. I have a 360 cs and the other day in south of france i did some pretty significant damage driving on a gravel road. It was quite stupid of me but it just shows the limits of having a really low car. You really have to map out your travle because any unexpected road or bump or garage will create paranoia and bodywork repairs

I have heard 15 mm but I have never measured my CS against a normal 360.
lowering it will look a lot better , don't know about the handling.

    rock on

he is not talking about lowering the CS. he said he assumes modena is higher than the CS, so can he lower the modena.

my asnwer is yes u can lower the modena, it will look much better, and still very drivable. the stock suspension is adjustable.

err.... the first question is " difference in height" which I have answered.
peterb tells us the CS is lower based on his own comment
perhaps the words "assuming that" should be replaced with "As" but paulie_b obviously wasn't sure on the details of the 2 cars.

The car is lower than a normal modena- thus the problems!
Before you lower your car think of your options- and remember every improvement you gain in handling- you will immediately loose when it rains!

I don't know all the measurements but I fitted CS wheels and CS suspension (with CS camber/height/geometry settings). Handling on a dry road or
track is much much better. I haven't yet had any bottoming out damage.

In the wet though even before worrying about the suspension the corsa's are awful.

Infact when they delivered the car to me- they told me not to drive the car in the rain. They were a little bit exaggerated however i would feel very unfortablle driving the car at any speed on a highway without a proper asphalt drainage surface.

Perhaps it depends on which part is being measured...
I have a recollection from the descriptions published when the CS was released that the butt was made even bigger/higher relative to the rest of the car. It was described as an advantage in increasing downforce without a separate wing.

According to the owners manual the Stradale is 15mm lower and the springs are 20% stiffer. A Modena might have a bottoming problem if it is lowered. Looking at the the cars side by side it looks more than 15mm to me but it could also be the wheels and tires.

I am unsure of the exact measurements but they lowered the front more than they lowered the back to increase angle/downforce. They definitely didn't raise the back.
